These were exactly what I was looking for. I needed waterproof short boots for walking the dog in the snow, with deep treads, lined for warmth, and with a wide enough toe box to accommodate my bunions and thick socks. These are it! A little stiff yet still comfy. Keeps out the snow great, worn once in the rain on very soggy grass, and had just a tiny bit of water leakage. Still worth it! Wear them every day. True to size, I wear a 9 in boots and sneakers and the 9 was perfect, even with a heavy sock. Read more
Love these boots! Had to go back home, Chicago, this past weekend and needed to warm boots. These are comfortable and definitely kept my feet warm. I recommend trying these boots! Read more
I wanted these to work so bad! Theyre waterproof and great for walking in wooded areas. Does not slip on most surfaces, provides stability and fits foot shape perfectly. Warm as well. It loses a star for me because it is not comfortable for all day wear. I kept them because I do like them and will wear them on days I know I won't be on my feet for more than 3 hours. Read more
NOTE: These are NOT boots. They are more like hiking shoes that boots, sort of like high-tops. My photos don't do well at showing the true colors on these shoes; the page photos are accurate for color. Also, I wore these for a full day before taking pictures, so you'll have to forgive any cat hairs or debris you might see. They arrived in pristine clean condition. 👍 FIT I usually buy men's shoes (size 8.5) because they are wide to begin with. If I need women's shoes, I go for 10-10.5 wide width, because I have wide feet and narrow pointy women's shoes are too uncomfortable and/or painful on me. These shoes don't come in wide width, and on top of that they are fur lined throughout the inside, so I was concerned about them not fitting me properly. I ordered the 10.5 and crossed my fingers (and toes), and it turns out they fit great, even with thick socks on! Yay! The sole is thick, which I appreciate, but it's pretty stiff. Hopefully they'll break in fairly quickly. I did wear them for a whole day to see how they felt. There is no arch support, not a ton of cushioning, but my feet weren't sore at the end of the day. Luckily it was cool enough that my feet didn't sweat much, and thankfully they didn't stink either. 🪡 MATERIALS These are 100% synthetic, with rubber and plastic and of course fake "fur" inside. I think the uppers are mostly nylon. The soles have a nice tread on them. Unfortunately, I don't know how long these will ultimately last. They seem to be nice shoes, but the materials are not top quality. It turns out there are removable fuzzy insoles in the shoe (see my photos), which surprised me, but a bigger surprise was to find that the floor of the shoe is fuzzy as well! I took out the insoles so I could put my own thick cloud-cushioned insoles in it, and again I was worried, but again they fit just fine. This is amazing luck for me, because my feet don't usually fit comfortably in women's sizes. ⭐ RATING As far as value goes, I'm tempted to be critical because of the lower quality synthetic materials. At about $60 when I ordered the pair, this is about 20-30% more than I'd expect to pay for them, so not the best value for my wallet. If they end up lasting for years and do very well in the snow, that would make me reconsider. It's just too early to tell yet. For now, I'll wait for good coupons or discounts before buying these in the future for myself or as a gift. I'm giving these 4 stars, which is the highest I'd give for a new pair of shoes that hasn't been used long enough to judge durability, since that's important to me. If anything changes with them, if they fall apart quickly or if they far surpass my expectations after a lot of hard use, I'll come back to update my review. For now, I'm comfortable with 4 stars as my early impression. Read more
