Edit: seller reached out and offered a refund due to the bad experience - much appreciated, good customer service. Unfortunately, extremely grainy even after sifting and I've tried mixing it both with the traditional bamboo whisk and with a mini electric whisk. It's not clumpy but the drink will be powdery/ you will have matcha powder remaining in your mouth after drinking. This is also the least vibrant green of the 3 matchas I've purchased on Amazon. Naoki and Chaism being the other two brands. Naoki was the best and cheapest of the three. Soar organics is the one on the bottom. Read more

My first Matcha and the only I've ever tasted. It doesn't necessarily taste bad, but I can't say it tasted good either (grass was my first thought). I admit I was expecting something closer to Chai (not even close), so maybe that's affecting my review. As to the froth... if you can move your whisk as fast as a blender you may get some. Now, going to make a cup and go to bed... I have it, it's very expensive, I'm gonna use it. Who knows, maybe I'll like it by the time the jar is gone. Read more

I use it as a non jittery energy/metabolism boost in my revitalizing tropical matcha smoothie (a recipe I found on the Soar Organics web page). It's great using a high quality matcha such as Soar Organics because a little really does go a long way! Making it a realistic every day use item too. This matcha tea had a very strange smell. It does not smell like tea and it certainly does not smell like the other brand of matcha tea I have. I was pleased when I saw the packaging because I didn’t have to worry about spilling tea trying to pour it into the can. The taste is ok. Although, I was apprehensive about drinking it.
