These are the best, they put out a LOT of air, l drive a school bus and to me these fans are essential to survive the extreme heat in a school bus in the HOT months of driving, the batteries last a long time, no going dead on my route. The smaller size works well for hiding under a suit jacket during the summer, outdoor weddings. I still felt noticeably LESS sweaty with the fan positioned between a cotton Oxford shirt & suit. I am not a particularly sweaty person, but still would prefer not to. The sound output is negligible with music playing so I can’t speak to that. Additionally, the battery was more than sufficient to cool and be used as power bank after missing the shuttle left only with a dead phone and requiring an uber. This is the 3rd belt fan Ive purchased, and the only one compact enough to be reasonably discrete. No one noticed it. To the point I wasn’t sure if people were noticing it and just not commenting. On speed setting 2 it sounds a bit like a gaming laptop's cooling system at full blast. For my needs so far I haven't had any reason to turn it up beyond 2, because like I said before, it's a powerful little fan. The fact that it also functions as a 10 amp hour power Bank and has a flashlight, in theory, makes it the best multi tool I could have in my line of work out in the heat for 10-12 hours a day.
