I got these rug tape corners because I have rug that has a curled corner that I constantly trip over, step on and essentially make it worse. I followed the instructions that are listed on the back of the box and applied the gripper to my rug and stuck it to the floor. The instructions are straight forward and easy to follow with the gripper itself designating what side goes to the rug and what side goes to the floor. It stuck neatly and thoroughly. I was impressed with how the rug fit very flush with the floor after applying the gripper. Since applying the gripper over a week ago I have had no trips or catches with that rug corner. The gripper is fairly easy to remove. The rug comes off first and then I had to pry up the gripper off the floor but it was not difficult. There was no residue left on the floor. I will be interested to see how well the gripper works after removing it and then reapplying the same gripper (such as when you would wash the floor). I've been dealing with the issue of shifting throw rugs in our main bathroom ever since we remodeled a few years ago, in the process install large 18 inch square sq tiles. It seems both of our drop rugs have a mind of their own and want to be somewhere other than where I want them to be! So when I came across these "Rug Tape Rug Corner Grippers" from Songrey, I knew I had to try them. So these are basically right Triangle cut adhesive pads designed to be fitted to the corners of your drop rugs and basically glue then down to the floor. These work great in my use case which is on hard tile floors, but be warned there are plenty of cautions on the box about damage potential if using them over carpet, or even on drop rugs with rubber backing - seems the adhesive on the pads is strong enough that it can do damage to certain surfaces - so use cautiously. The box comes with a total of 16 adhesive corner pieces, enough for 4 drop rugs if you secure all four corners, but I have found it to be totally sufficient, with my rugs, if I only use them to secure two opposite diagonal containers. In this use model a single box is sufficient for securing eight drop rugs. While the usage instructions on the box claim that these pads are washable and reusable, I have not yet had occasion to test the veracity of those claims, and can not directly speak as to their accuracy. All in all these are, so far at least, working well for the throw rugs in my bathroom. If you also have a problem with migrating rugs, and your use case does not conflict with the cautions on the box, you might have good luck with these rug corner grippers. Read more

We have a lot of area rugs, all of them antique. We also have robotic vacuum cleaners that have a tendency to periodically turn the sides of these rugs up. And this not only looks bad but is also dangerous for anyone walking around. Up until now I have been using the double sided tape to keep the edges of the rugs in place. It works but not all the great because the tape needs to be replaced every couple of months or so. And now enter the Corner Grippers. Well, they are great - very easy to apply because you can stick them ob the rug itself first and then affix to the floor. They hold great, they lie absolutely flat and they last. I love these! These rug grippers are a genuinely thoughtful and well-made product. I was pleasantly surprised to find there are enough pieces included to secure several rugs around the house, which is excellent value. The design makes it very straightforward to distinguish which side is meant for the rug and which for the floor, eliminating any guesswork during application. Peeling off the protective liners was simple and hassle-free. They adhere very strongly to the rug itself, so it's a good idea to make sure your initial placement is accurate, as they really grip. I also appreciate that they didn't get stuck to my fingers during installation. What truly impressed me was the mesh-reinforced lining. This feature does an incredible job of keeping rug corners flat, completely preventing that annoying curling which is so common. I even tried them with a rug pad underneath, and they performed wonderfully. I simply stuck the rug directly to the pad using the grippers, and it completely eliminated the corner curl without any need to attach the grippers to the actual floor.
