It's a great little speaker with awesome sound quality and volume. It recharges very quickly, but I am not sure it will play 12 hrs in a row at any volume above what you would listen to going to sleep. I have not been willing to spend more than about $30 for a speaker b'c I couldn't seem to keep from breaking the charging port. The USB C connection is sturdy and charges so much faster than the micro USB in the cheaper speakers. I'm going to be very, very careful getting it wet if the charger port cap isn't sealed. It looks a lot like it has to be sealed to be water resistant. I'm definitely not willing to risk it as I have stated several times here, it charges remarkably fast. So far, I love it! I'll come back only if I break the charging port in the same amount of time as the cheap ones, but I don't expect I will. Read more
