I bought this clock for my 92 yr old mom. I decided to check it out before I gave it to her. I really like this clock! It is easy to read, has the day, date, time, whether it is Night or Day. I love the feature of automatically adjusting for DST. Love the 3 alarms but my favorite is the birds chirping 😃I will definitely keep this one and purchasing another one for my mom and now my sister wants one! It is a great purchase for seniors ❤️ Read more

I bought the clock for my 81-year-old mother who has dementia, and it has been a wonderful purchase. She absolutely loves it! The large, clear display makes it easy for her to read the time, day, and date without any confusion. The plug-in design is reliable, and the automatic daylight savings adjustment is a great touch—I don’t have to worry about changing it for her. It gives her confidence and independence, while giving me peace of mind knowing she feels better, not being confused as to what day it is. Highly recommend for seniors, those with memory loss, or anyone who wants a simple, reliable, easy-to-read clock. Read more

My mom had a stroke and was having a hard time remembering what time it was and what day of the week it was so I got her this clock. We had a similar one for my father-in-law before he died in 2022, and I guess I should have kept his. (We ended up donating it to the assisted living facility he was living in. I got it for him because he got very mixed up on his time if it was 6 p.m. and dark, he wasn't sure if it was daytime or evening in the winter.) The clock has been very useful for my mom. I haven't noticed the dimming feature nor have I tried setting the alarms. But the clock function is very nice, especially having the day of the week and time of the day on there. We use the "default" look (white text on black background) and it's very easy to read. Setting the clock was fairly simple. I may end up getting her a second one for her bedroom, but this one (used in her TV room) keeps her on track for the most part. Read more

Works perfectly! Super loud there's no way of not hearing it. The alarms are great for elder used and the time and date to help them remember what day it is. Very bright in color. Easy to set reminders for medicines, food etc. overall strong working clock. Read more

I bought this for my Dad and I and they are wonderful clocks! My Dad has dementia and kept getting confused on what day it was even when he was marking the days off on a calendar now he has no trouble knowing what day it is! My Dad says this is his "million dollar" clock he loves it that much and said he wishes he'd have had it years ago! I like that it resets after a power outage and when the time changes. I highly recommend this clock! Read more

The instructions were clear. But doing the first one (sliding out the battery holder) was nearly impossible. I did wonder how many of us old people ended up in the emergency room because of a knife slipping. Or am I the only one who tries a knife in frustration at battery slots? TV remotes are just as bad. As it turned out, the mere act of pulling out the plastic insulation slip had set up the enclosed battery perfectly. I was stymied for a few minute because, after setting the time and date, the day of the week was nowhere to be found, but I discovered it came up automatically when I was finished. I then unplugged it from the outlet in the kitchen where I had been because the light was better and plugged it into a bedroom socket. I am pleased to report the battery backup worked. Today is the last day of standard time. I will be able to check tomorrow and report on whether or not the change to standard is automatic. Checked to see if it moved to Daylight Savings Time automatically. It did not, but it is very easy to set so no worries. I also learned that it could do without power all night and keep its settings, although I wouldn't want to do that too often or I might need a new battery The light is dimmable. It is bright enough to serve as a nightlight set at 5. Since it is in our bedroom, I have set it to 1 which is plenty light enough to see. I have not tried any of the reminder settings. Read more
