Safe to use for eye irritation for both people & pets. Purchased this specifically to use for our two puppy's whose eye lashes are curling inward and irritating their corneas with our veterinary ophthalmologists blessing. It is working as we had hoped & so has allowed us to wait until they are older to determine if they will need to have entropion surgery (taking a wait & see approach is recommended unless it is an emergency situation, until they are at least a year old as they are still growing & the confirmation of their heads will change & may negate having to have this surgery). Since applying this ointment to both of their eyes several times throughout the day and evening to keep them well lubricated, we have had 3 follow-up appointments & our puppies ophthalmologist is quite pleased with the positive results for both of them, one of whom no longer needs to have this surgery. Appreciate the option to order this product with a subscribe & save to ensure we have a steady supply at a great price without needing to worry about running out. This ointment is different than the regular eyedrops, it’s more like a gel/Neosporin consistency. Only use at night right before I sleep because this will blur your eye sight for a while. It doesn’t sting or stimulate my skin around the eyes, and helped me reduce the crusty eyes in the morning! Read more

She’s only used it twice so far, but it already helps a lot! It provides noticeable relief and keeps her eyes moisturized through the night. We plan to use it only when her eyes feel especially dry or irritated. The formula is gentle, even for her sensitive eyes, and doesn’t cause any discomfort. I have very dry eyes, one eye much drier than the other. I use preservative-free drops 4 times per day, including just before going to bed. But by mid-way through the night, my dryer eye begins to hurt very substantially. I use this product only in my dryer eye. It works exceptionally well for me, giving 100% relief throughout the entire 8+ hours until I apply regular drops the next morning. I expected a lot of blurriness but am very pleasantly surprised that the blurriness is very minor. What little blurriness remains upon waking is totally eliminated upon applying regular drops in the morning. But the product is rather expensive to use since there are not many applications in each very tiny tube. It is good that the tubes are small capacity since it reduces the likelihood of any contamination after first opening it. But it should be sold as a package of several of the tiny tubes. Very effective for lubricating dry eyes. It takes very little for it to work, a tiny tube last me a long time. I often cannot finish it when it’s time to discard the tube. Great value! Read more
I gave the product 3 starts because, it came in on time, does lubricate my eyes, however it does not fix my dry eye issue while I'm sleeping I'm still waking up several times the night with extreme dryness so I'm going to have to just go back to regular moisturizing eye drops which worked the best. My hunka hunka has had many eye surgeries since he was 7. And us jow 70. These drops seem to really help him when he needs relief from pain or dryness. Use before bed because it does blur vision being a gel, but I am much prettier looking after I put them in his pretty baby blues 😆 Read more
