Sorel Mens ONA RMX Puffy Slip-On Shoes

Despite Hiker_Annie’s helpful review, I went ahead and ordered these super cute slippers in the army green in 8.5. Love Sorel quality and I just loved them on sight - puffy outer, lined with cozy light fleece, cool orange and cream accents and unique sole. I have narrow, flat feet with a tendency for plantar fasciitis on my right foot, a need for cushion and arch support. These just arrived so I’ve been wearing them for a couple of hours. First impression: as cute IRL as in pics, comfortable & snug width. Will see how long I last without my usual cushion and arch support. As for sizing, I took a chance not knowing if a men’s or women’s 8.5 would arrive. Box says men’s 8.5 but it fits like a women’s 9-9.5 which is fine because the width is snug and because I have enough room to wear these with socks or if I want to add inserts. I will say that the foot opening isn’t very stretchy or wide. Works ok for my narrow feet but if yours are very wide or if you have a high rise, I imagine these would not be easy to slip on. Wearing these instead of slippers inside the house, but with the support of a shoe, and it can be worn as a shoe. Not sure I'd wear them in the rain. Good quality. The puffy insulation might be too warm in summer. As others have noted, there is a confusion about women's vs men's in the product listing and sizing. I wear a men's size 12 or 12-1/2. I ordered size 13 and it fit, but just barely. (Very comfortable, but the fit is exact, no slack.) At that size, the shoe is easy to take off, but a little difficult to put on, unless with a shoehorn. With those notes, I like these and they feel like they will be durable. Read more

My previous cooler weather house shoes bit the dust last spring, and I was due for another pair. I needed a pair to keep my feet cozy while inside, as well as for the occasional steps outside with the dogs, so I also needed a hard sole. I like Sorels in general, and when I saw a deal for these at less than half the MSRP, I jumped. I'd have chosen a different color, perhaps, but only the green was on sale, and I do like green anyway. I have some serious issues with one of my feet: bunion, corn, and fallen arch. All my cute shoes are painful now, and I am on my feet 10+ hours per day. I basically wanted slippers I can wear home from work and these fit the bill! I ordered a size up so that I can put in inserts and they are super comfy!! I sprayed them with Nanotec so they'll be water-resistant when it starts to rain this fall. Only complaint is that they have a pointy toe box, but the comfort outweighs any complaints! Read more
