I have never spent this much on shoes before. They seem like they are well made with quality materials and they look so cute, so I decided to take a chance. I have issues with my feet because I am flat footed, so I was willing to pay for a well made shoe for comfort. They are so stylish and can be dressed up or down. They seem comfortable. I have not worn them out yet. I usually wear a 9.5 narrow and a 10 in some shoes for comfort depending on the shoe. I took a chance and ordered a 9.5 and I am pleased so far with the fit. It seems like enough room and not to tight. I can probably play around with different thickness of socks to see which gives me more comfort. I think a 10 would have been to big. I love Sorel boots for how well they fit and look, and also how solid the construction feels--these are no different. I feel, and look, great in these and they tend to draw compliments. They're not just for show either, as I tested their limits a few times with long and moderately challenging walks around my city and some park paths with zero issue. Super pumped about these! I LOVE Sorel, grew up wearing their winter boots and now love that I can wear them in everyday life as an adult. These feel so similar to my Joan of Arcs, maybe a bit stiffer in the sole but still comfortable. I saw some reviews about them not being such and I just don't feel that. I think, for a company to make any type of wedge remotely comfortable for the vertically challenged is pretty great. To say they're not comfortable from the moment you put them on is a little bit of a stretch. I will say, they do seem a bit narrow. I have pretty normal width feet so as long as your feet are pretty normal, shoes should fit as expected. I'm in between a 6.5-7 and went with a 7 so I could use wool & thicker cotton socks with them. If you're unsure, the great thing about Amazon is, you can return so easily. They are well worth the extra money spent. Between these and my Joan of Arcs(lace up, a little taller version) I'm complete, though I may get another pair of Joan's with a little lower top and slip on! PS don't mind my unsun kissed legs and my outfit, I was cold and had to dress decent for work, ha. Read more
