These Sorel brand boots are definite luxury! The selling price at the time I ordered them was $190, which seems fair for the quality of the boot I received. The full leather upper is soft and luxurious, and feels supple in my hand. The size runs exact for me, which is a 9.5. Sometimes in boots I need to size up, but that wasn't the case here - the advertised size range was perfect for me. The construction of these boots are absolutely perfect, I examined the stitching all the way around and cannot find a single loose stitch or flaw. The zippers run smoothly, and the footbed is comfortable. I just got to walk in these for any distance today, and it was a pleasure. There is a little bit of rubbing on my heel from break in, but that's to be expected. Overall I'm extremely happy with these boots. I got the black on black version, and they look very stylish! Ouch! These are SO stiff and there is hard cardboard right on the ankle bone and toes. These also run small! I am a true women’s 9 and I couldn’t even get my foot in (my feet are not wide by any means). I’m surprised these have such good reviews. I ordered these Sorel Women's Joan Now Zip Bootie Fashion Boot in a size 9 and they are a perfect fit. I have several pairs of Sorel boots and I like every one of them! Very comfortable and easy to get on as they have a side zipper. I have a very high arch and it can affect my ability to get into a boot. The quality of the leather is very good. I will say the price point is a bit high but this is a boot that will last many years. Some of my Sorel boots are over 10 years old. This is a great boot to wear dressy or out walking, or even both. Sorel is such a great brand and I'm really happy I found these Chelsea boots. For reference, I am usually an 8.5 M in US Women's Sizes (39 Euro), but I got these in size 9 and I'm glad there will be room for thick socks and an Orthotic insert. The heel looked a little high for my taste (I'm planning on these for a, "walking in the snow long distances" type of boot), but these are surprisingly comfy and have a small platform in the front to offset the 2-inch-plus heel. I kinda wish I'd gotten them in a different color, though. I got them in Canoe and the leather looks a little fake, but on the plus side, it's a neutral deep taupe shade and will go with a lot of outfits. Read more

Straight out of the box, I can tell that these boots are made really well. They have a nice waterproof outer layer and I love the traction in the heel of the sole. They open up on the side zip and my foot slips right in. These are very well-made as I said, they are a little tight for me going up on the sides. I hope to break them in soon! I went out walking in them and they weren’t too hot being that they were waterproof. My foot still felt like they could breathe really well. And how stylish are these? They are so cute! The boots are stylish and beautiful. The quality of these boots are amazing. The stitching is neat and precise. These are definitely luxury boots. The grips at the bottom really help me not fall on surfaces with a little moisture. The fitting of the boots for me is ok. I have wide feet and when I first put these on, I could feel these are not intended for people with wider feet. Eventually you will break them in, but that was one of the first flaws that I noticed.
