Can't tell about comfort of the shoe because the sizing is so drastically atypical. I usually wear a 10 but I tried a 10.5 and that too was not super comfortable, partly bc of the shape of the toe box. I am exchanging now for an 11 to try, but am concerned it may be too loose around the foot/ankle, we'll see! FYI, I am describing the fit with my thick wool socks on, which is what I would wear outside. Otherwise, the color and look of this and the other shoe I tried in red look great to me, super cute. Wish there was a wider toe box... Read more

I ordered this Sorel Women's Whitney Iii Slip-on Waterproof Snow Boot in the black and I am so happy with it! I cannot wait to wear it when the weather gets cooler, I am not waiting for it to snow. The boot is so comfortable and I did not want to take it off. I like the height, not too tall but tall enough for three or four inches of snow. The boot is waterproof so can be used in the cold rain. I like the way the shoe strings go around the shaft of the boot, it is a different look, it can be tightened as needed. I have a very high arch but this boot was easy for me to get on. I generally wear a size 9 but ordered a 9.5 and I am glad I did so that I can wear a thicker sock. I it is better to order a half or full size up in this boot. I have several pairs of Sorel boots and I like them all. I highly recommend this boot. Read more
