Love, love these boots! Usually I will not purchase boots unless they include side zippers. But, I own several other Sorel footwear and purchased these because they are so nice looking. Compliments every time I wore them. I think Sorel got sold a lot of these to Up North gals. 😃So comfy. Easy to slide in my feet. Really! Do not miss the zippers. Warm, too. These are my go-to "walking to work" shoes. Living in a snowy, wet environment, I have to walk about a quarter of a mile from the bus stop to my workplace, and these shoes have been fantastic for keeping me warm and dry. They're so cute that I often end up leaving them on when I get to work! I did add a sherpa lining to the soles (since I had an extra pair), but honestly, they’re already incredibly comfortable without it. For deeper snow days, I rely on my tall, fur-lined Sorel boots, but for everyday winter wear, these shoes are absolutely perfect. Read more
I got these for a winter trip to northern Michigan and they were the most perfect winter boots I have ever had. They fit beautifully. They are cozy and warm while being surprisingly lightweight in spite of the thick soles. I had good traction on wet and snow, and had slip on spike straps for ice. I got more comments than I expected about how nice and cute they were. I thought they were, but apparently so did everyone... even strangers. I have no hesitation about recommending these. Read more
I love these boots. They have good cushioning and I can stand/walk all day in them. If you need arch or metatarsal support, you will likely need an insole though. The boots are very warm and cozy. They do run a bit large. I often need a 12 wide in boots and shoes, but found that the size 12 in these boots had plenty of room, so you can probably size down if you are between sizes. I really thought this would be a good brand because it was recommended to me. I bought two of them and they are different style with the same brand but neither of them lock down well over the top of my foot. During the course of the day my feet begin to slide around because I can't tighten the laces well. This is a design flaw that Sorel may want to address. Read more
These are my new favorite shoes! I bought these for a cold NYC trip, and they worked out perfectly. I broke them in first at home though because they come a bit stiff. But they loosened up nicely and are very comfortable to walk in. They are also very warm if you’re going to be outside in the cold. So if you’re only wearing these inside, they may be too hot.
