I hate the traditional alarm that scares you to death up on waking. I love waking up to soft birds chirping and soft music. You can also dim the clock which was a must for me. It also has 21 different sounds to use for a sound machine so it can help sooth you to sleep or drown out any noise. Just received and set up first time. Setting up a little complicated (multiple steps for each setting) but everything worked. Would have liked to be able to set more than one alarm time rather than have to reset it frequently which my schedule requires. Also, complexity of setting makes the included battery backup almost essential. Read more

My Motorola android phone does not work with charger, and Bluetooth also doesn’t work. (No scenarios apply). Only sounds that are good to me are birds, thunder and lullaby. Rain has static in background, babbling brook makes me feel like I’m drowning. I made a mistake and thought time projected on ceiling, it does not.
