I cannot say how much I absolutely LOVE these! I am a light sleeper, and my husband snores pretty loudly. These cancel the noise out really well. They work great as Bluetooth headphones as well. I love that you can customize the preset audio using the sounds included in the app. The snoring setting is awesome. Sounds like white or brown noise, puts me to sleep very quickly. They are very, VERY comfortable and they have not come out even once. And I toss and turn all night. I bought a pair for my mom because I knew she would love them. Read more
I have been using these ear buds for 6 months and have mostly liked them. I definifely sleep better with them. They are not the most comfortable, but i use a small donut pillow to relieve pressure on my ear and that works well enough. Most of the time, they work as intended, but sometimes they seem to forget my settings and I have to make changes in the app for them to function to my preference. All this to say that after 6 months, the right ear buds stopped working. I did all the troubleshooting and contacted customer support. I was told there was only a 3 month warranty despite the documentation that came with the ear buds says 18 months. In my opinion, the cost for apparent life expectancy not worth it and I cannot justify replacing these with the same brand and supporting this company who doesn't stand by their products. Read more
I tested several cheaper random brands that advertised earbuds for side sleepers... All the non-brand products were horrible - both in terms of fit, sound and functionality. I also testes the Ozlo Sleepbuds - these were the most comfortable (did not feel them during sleep and they did not fall out), but at $249 price tag, the functionality was severely lacking to the Soundcore Sleep A20. I had to keep not only the case but the phone within 10 feet, otherwise they would they lose connectivity. Major PITA for me. These earbuds were comfortable for long-term wear (like when I am listening to a book and cleaning) and were sufficiently comfortable for sleep. I can sleep on them, but I do feel a tiny bit of discomfort and they do fall out at night (so the sound does not last all night and then I have to keep looking for them in bed). For the price tag, the sound quality is good, the comfort level is sufficient and the functionality is great - I can tap one earbud to change between sleep mode and Bluetooth mode and tap the other to play/stop content, which is great. The Ozlo's don't do that... If you want sleep ONLY earbuds and don't care about the price, go with Oslo. If you will use the earbuds for some other purposes too, these Ankers are the best I've tested. Read more
I would like to offer a fairly detailed review of these A20 Anker Soundcore sleep buds. If you, like me, have problems sleeping, especially with a snorer nearby, And if you fell in love with the Bose sleep buds despite all of their battery problems and now miss them because they can’t be bought anymore… These are the best solution I have found! I bought the A10s after my final Bose replacement pair stopped working. I had to have my A-10s replaced two times because the left side kept dying. (I’m not sure what’s wrong with that left ear of mine!) Before the third set started dying, I Bought these because I read of all the new features and hoped that they would do better. Well, they really do! The find lost bud feature is amazing. The comfort of these is significantly better than the A10s Especially for side sleepers like me. The sound blocking and noise masking choices and mix capabilities are amazing. And even the design of the silicone tips that actually go into your ear is improved. There are some that have a double layer in the box and these really block the sound well while remaining relatively loose feeling in your ear. This leads to a comfortable night sleep with an excellent noise Masking ability! This was refurbished on Amazon I knew I could return it if I didn’t like it so I took a chance - and I’m so happy I did! I would highly highly recommend these if you are a fan of the Bose sleep buds and the Anker A-10s and need a new pair or just want to try something better. The battery life exceeds both!!! Read more
They are the best sleep earbuds I’ve found as far as noise cancellation goes. The preset sounds really do sufficiently muffle sound, even horrible snoring. They seal well into the ear so are great at blocking out noise. Better than others I’ve tried. The comfort level is subjective. They’re ok for me but I am usually sleeping on my side and they do make my ears hurt by morning. But I also use a buckwheat pillow so that affects it (it is ok if I carve a small cave into the pillow so nothing is pressing against my ear). Lots of sizes earbuds and wings to help get a good fit. The reason for only 2 stars is that they only lasted a year. Then one earbuds started cutting out and turning off, even though the battery was fully charged. It began working only for a couple hours, then makes a startling buzzing noise which causes interference with the other earbud. Then the bad one dies so I can hear sounds like snoring through that ear again. I’m very disappointed. I have several other Soundcore headphones that have lasted much longer, so this seems to be a defective item or poor design. I did reach out to the company for support but since the one year warranty has just expired, all they offered me was 10% off another purchase. For $120, these should have lasted at least a couple years. I will not buy this item again because I don’t trust the reliability anymore. And the updated model, which hopefully is better quality, is $200. I wouldn’t pay that for these even if they were excellent quality. A fair price in my opinion (based on testing every sleep earbud and earplug I could find) would be $30-50. Read more
