The screen design of this device is truly distinctive-unlike other products, it features a notch design that caught my eye. Additionally, it's lightweight and compact for easy storage, and it comes with a storage bag. I've used this for eggs, chicken, steak, and even yogurt. The 1000W power is a beast—heats up so fast, in less than a few minutes, the time I set will be reached. Moreover, I have also measured the temperature with a probe and found that there is no error. The screen is a dream to use. Cleaning is a breeze thanks to the removable sleeve. But the best part is the consistent, foolproof results. The media could not be loaded. First, this machine features a unique wine chilling function not found in comparable products. This feature drew me in, so I purchased it to try out this distinctive capability. The wine chilling function works by pressing the dedicated button, adding ice water and ice cubes, and circulating the mixture to rapidly cool the wine. Unlike refrigeration, which can compromise the wine's flavor profile, this method preserves its taste. Now I can instantly prepare various chilled beverages to entertain guests at last-minute gatherings. Secondly, as someone who eats clean, I love that I can cook with minimal oil and still have incredibly moist and flavorful food. The precision cooking locks in the natural juices. I use it for fish and vegetables all the time. Plus, I've been working out lately and often use this machine to cook my fat-burning meals. I make chicken breast vegetable salads, carrots, and other low-fat foods with it. This machine retains most of the juices in the food, so it doesn't end up dry and tough. That makes it easier for me to stick to preparing a fat-burning meal every day. Plus, I prep all ingredients before my workout. Just press the button and the machine does the rest. By the time I finish exercising and return home, my fat-loss meal is ready to eat. It's incredibly convenient and saves me a ton of time. This was simply a joy to use. I bought a sous vide cooker 5 or 6 years ago, but the setup was too cumbersome for me to use it regularly. It required an app connected to your smart phone and it was hard to make the cooker stand upright. We bought a specialized container to prop the cooker upright. This sous vide machine solves all of the problems I once had. There is a built-in clamp to anchor the cooker to containers of all types and sizes, which is a game changer for me. And there is no app. I like my culinary equipment to have its own control panel without involving my phone. And the cooker has a nice weight to it that feels solid and sturdy–worthy of Cattlemen who sous vide, of course. ;-) The cooker is quiet and the size is perfect for easy storage hanging from a hook in the storage bag included in the box. I used the cooker for my holiday spread this year, which was a first. This machine comes with a separate, 30-page guide that includes 20 recipes. We followed the Sous Vide Salmon with Apple-Jalapeno salsa to the letter and it was delicious. The salmon doesn't look as inviting as a grilled salmon with the coagulated protein, a side effect of the gentle cooking process--even though we salted the fillets in advance per the instructions. BUT THE SALMON CERTAINLY TASTED SO MUCH BETTER, RICHER than grilled salmon even though we had not infused the salmon with any flavor enhancers--no herbs, no butter, no lemon. The apple-jalapeno salsa was amazing, especially since we paired it with margaritas and white wine. Speaking of wine, that’s my next stop with this sous vide machine–using this in an ice bath to chill the white wine. That sounds so next level. Party on, Cattlemen, party on! Read more

Basically this is an immersion heater with circulation and a thermostat. It is well constructed and has a quality feel to it. It is essential to read and understand the instructions. It is designed to heat only water. Food is placed in a cooking bag with as little air as possible, then into water. When cooling wine, only the water circulation is turned on. Ice placed in the water provides the cooling function. Every question I had was answered in the manual. The only safety message that perhaps should have been included, was that the power cord and cooking container should be well away from the countertop edge to prevent a curious toddler from pulling it over on herself. This applies to every cooking appliance, not just this product. I tested this with four hot dogs starting with lukewarm water. It took about half an hour to get them up to temp. I'm not qualified to cook (per my wife) so she will be taking over from here. I will revise the review if new information comes to light. But for now, I think it is working just fine!! Read more
