Can I say this is my ONLY creamer that me and my husband use! It is absolutely delicious! In fact I buy it by the case! This makes your coffee rich like real half and half…not watery at all. You would think that you’re having the milk version. As for taste of the unflavored, there’s no weird taste at all just smooth and creamy! I’ve tried them and truly this is the best!! Read more

We are big-time coffee lovers and have not found an alternative to half & half that even comes close to satisfying. Until now. As one reviewer stated, this is more expensive than some, but it's so rich and creamy that you won't use as much to achieve the same "cream" level in your cup. Add to that the fact that it's organic, and for us, it's worth the extra money. It also froths really well - maybe as well as Oatly Barista Edition, which seems to be the standard in the barista world - so if you make cappuccinos and lattes at home as we do, Sown will do the job for you. It's quite a bit more expensive than the Oatley product, but keep in mind that Sown is an excellent creamer (very rich) while Otley Barista Edition is a milk consistency and is not even close to the richness of half & half. We highly recommend this product for anyone seeking a non-dairy alternative to half & half. Read more

The unsweetened variety of this is by far the best creamer I have ever used, and nothing else even comes close as far as taste, texture, and smoothness. It really compliments coffee in a way that not even dairy creamer can for me. Other oat milk creamers are often too thin and watery and tasteless, or else not organic, but this one has a perfect thickness and consistency and foams up very nicely in a frother. It would be a full five-star product if not for one major flaw that I wish the company would address: the packaging. There are two issues I have with it: 1) the pull tab sometimes breaks off before even being able to make a crack in the very tough seal, which means I have to stab it open with a knife or sharp object, which then sometimes messes up the spout and makes it leaky; and 2) quite a bit of creamer is left behind at the end of the bottle, and it is impossible to pour that last bit out no matter what way you shake it, so I always have to cut the entire box open to get that last serving of creamer (and it's too expensive and our household uses it too frequently to waste that much creamer per bottle (yes, I also do this with toothpaste)). I wish the company would address this issue as I don't have this problem with any other creamer boxes, just this one. Read more

First, let me say I pretty exclusively use oat milk for my hot beverages and cooking. WHICH, is why having hydrolyzed oat milk is so important. First, they do not "curdle" and get chunky when added to something hot. Second, they create a better texture in cooked food. Third, they are creamier, more like a half & half vs regular milk. Fourth, they have more bioavailable nutrients and are more digestible. But here's the rub... many of the hydrolyzed oat milks are not organic and have a lot of added sugars. But, NOT SOWN! Sown is both made with organic hydrolyzed oats AND it doesn't have any added sugars in the unsweetened version, which I love. Other similar brands, like Oatly, are great tasting but are not organic and event their unsweetened versions contain added sugars. So, if you care about reducing sugars and organic foods and an oat milk product that can stands up to cooking and heat.... SOWN is the one for you. Hot tip: I buy it in multiples because it is popular for a reason and often runs out. Read more

I use a lot of half and half in my coffee. A lot. My excuse is that its the only way I can drink coffee without irritating my ulcer... Since plants don't have cholesterol, I've been searching for a plant based creamer for awhile. They all were just like milk. This isn't milk. The container has over 60 servings!!!!! It's delicious and has the right texture / consistency. Keep it cold if you want it to last. If not refrigerated, it lasts about two days. (I was curious) Read more
