I’ve had ‘happy lamps’ years ago - did nothing. These newer ones are so different. I have this ona plant stand and pointing over my desk. It feels like I’m sitting in the sunshine! Works as described. I use it in my office space, my reading chair and hobby table. Easy to move - not heavy. Love the remote! Remote was a little difficult to put batteries in, but light is nice

The light itself is awkward because the cord is located so far up the pole that it has to be close to the power source. UPDATE: I wrote a pretty scathing review with 2 stars when I received it, so I am changing that. Yesterday, I took a few extra minutes to play with putting the batteries in the remote. The problem was apparently that the coil on the negative terminal ends was not aligned properly when I installed the batteries. I had to push it back at the same time I put the batteries in to establish a connection. After that, the remote does work, and I have light. Still deducting a star because the cord is so short it has to be pretty close to the power source, so it can't be used as a floor lamp in a room where the power source is more than a couple of feet from the lamp--which makes sense if you use it as a desk lamp and the power source is directly under the desk. Great if your power source is close though. I do like the light it gives off. Read more
