This heater puts out a great deal of heat in almost no time; it is temperature controlled if you could figure it out. The fireplace makes it attractive and gives off nighttime ambiance. The included manual is so small print that a magnifying glass had to be used. Son was smarter, took a picture and blew it up. See photo and compare print to the nickle beside it. The buttons look to be intuitive but don’t really work that well, at least for me. Don’t lose the remote, as all functions are best performed on it. The onboard button that has a +/- indicator would lead you to believe the upper part raises the temp and lower, lowers temp. Not so, you must cycle from top to bottom and back. I really like it in our room, but it is useful with remote only it seems. At 1500W that runs about 27 cents per hour here. Read more

Nice space heater that performs as advertised. The base is easy to put together and attach and the manufacturer even gives you an extra screw. The heat produced is what you would expect from a 1500 watt heater. The controls are easy to use and the remote, even though it does not come with a battery, works well. The 6 foot cord is adequate for the intended room size which means you do not have to buy a separate 12 gauge extension cord. I downgraded the rating 1 star due to the type of sticker used on the face of the unit. The sticker says "Remove Before Using", but the glue on the sticker is not the easy pull off type. I had to use a hair dryer and fingernail to scrape off the paper sticker and then WD40 to remove the adhesive. No excuse for not using an easier to remove sticker. I was very amazed at just how sensitive the safety mechanism is to this heater. A slight bump against the heater shuts itself off. The fireplace is not like the older flickering flames fireplace. It is more of a modern LED digital fire, that is crisper and clearer as if it’s on a TV screen. The automatic thermostat seems to work just fine, as the machine turns on and off at the desired temperature. Oscillation is around 180 degrees, so the heat will spread evenly throughout the room, and warmed up my 12 by 12 office rather quickly and kept it at the desired temperature without issue. This kept the room consistently comfortable. The unit’s fan is somewhat on the standard loudness as heater fans go. Not too loud but noticeable in a quiet room. Otherwise, you won’t know it’s there. There was no burning smell that I could notice with it running most of the day. Definitely worth the money for this little powerhouse of a machine. Read more
