These are great skull caps, they are big enough to fit my big head, but could also fit someone with a much bigger or smaller head. The sweatband works great and it's not too thick, so it doesn't looks goofy. You are able to tie it tight enough, so that it will stay on, at speeds well over the limit (75+++++). I have long hair and I do not wear a helmet, so the best thing about the skull cap to me is it keeps the hair on top of my head from becoming a tangled mess. I bought my first skull cap from Sparkling Earth back in November 2019 and I liked it so much that I bought 2 more in July 2020 before I went on a 2,400 mile round trip on my bike. Best fitting out of lots I've tried and the only brand I will ever buy now! From side to side is 13" which comfortably covers the tops of my ears without them ever popping out, which is a total must for me! I have yet to find another that fits or even gives measurements in the descriptions. These are also very well made and have never fallen apart. I also love the terry cloth strip in the headband. Caps are larger than the ones I prefer but they are no more. The rear straps are big as well, this means the knot will be large too. It's not comfortable in a motorcycle helmet due to the huge knot from the straps. I would get a different brand for helmet use. Note Pic for small knot vs this product huge knot. Read more

They were big. I mean really big. The tie part was fine but the thing looked and felt like I had a beret on. If it was any taller it could have been a chef's hat. I boiled them and then threw them in the dryer on high heat and they shrunk a little but still big. The side panels on top were almost an inch too tall, on each side. Might see how hard it is to cut the seams and shorten but they are huge. Basically a wast of money. Read more
