This leash is amazing! I just successfully completed our first walk together with my 3 year old golden and 5 month old golden. This leash helped make my dogs walk together and prevented my older dog from pulling a lot. The design is genius because it helps prevent tangles despite the dogs cross crossing many times. It was also nice to be hands free so I could pick up and carry poop. I would recommend this leash to anyone who wants to walk their dogs together in a stress free way! Read more

I'm VERY happy with this leash setup. I have a difficult time walking both my dogs at once, handling two leashes, and maybe a bottle of water, my phone, etc. This leash is fantastic. Previously, walking them on two normal leads, is quite challenging at times. I’m not the type of dog mom, unfortunately, who has well-trained dogs who heal on command, at least not readily and consistently, especially at the start of a walk when they are all excited. They both want to pull two different directions, and God help me if they see a squirrel. LOL But they seemed to really settle well into this leash. The dogs did well with the double harness, there was no pulling and tugging of leashes in two different directions, and I really love the hands-free, no-hassle this affords. The leashes, fasteners, and fanny pouch all appear to be well made and sturdy. At first I was a little self-conscious because it is kind of goofy looking to have this ornate fanny pouch. But it’s SO handy! It has really made walking the dogs much more pleasant. No more juggling my water bottle, keys, treats, poop bags… I got back to the car from the walking trail yesterday and saw another lady with ONE husky on TWO leashes, one in each hand. She still had almost zero control over him. If that’s you, you definitely needs one of these! It gets 2 thumbs up from me! Read more

I love this double leash so much! I have two bigger dogs. One is a little over 50 lbs and a German shepherd who is about 90 lbs. I hate only walking one at a time because I feel guilty leaving the other behind but I do not have to worry about that with this leash. I have had it for a few months now and I use it often. It's great quality and the rotating double part works perfect for keeping them untangled when they switch sides. Of course dogs will always find a way to tangle each other up but it's significantly less often with this versus two separate leashes. I love that it has handles in multiple places to allow control over dogs that may be reactive. One of my dog is reactive to bicycles so having a handle near his collar makes controlling him around bikes so much easier. I love that it can clip around your waist and makes it so much easier to walk them. You don't have to use the waist option and can walk your dogs regularly as well. I'm obsessed with this leash and will not walk my dogs on separate leashes again unless necessary. The double leash also works to keep each other in check. If one dog goes to veer off to the side they will not have much room to go without pulling on the other and giving that tension to recorrect them. 20/10 recommend for multiple big dogs! Read more

Update: I've been using the leash with my two border collies on runs for over a year. We have hundreds of miles on it. I don't use the belt that came with the leash but use custom sewn belt that I have. The leash is still solid and doesn't show any signs of wear. Still a highly recommended dual lead leash. I have two border collies that I run with all the time on road and trail, and I wanted a double lead leash that could handle their pulling. They're not sled dogs by any means but they do like to run so I also needed a lead that didn't feel like it could fail at any time with the work being ask to do. Here's a list of pro's and cons. Pro's -- 1) Heavy duty - The lead and bungees are made for medium to large dogs and feel very well constructed. The rings and attachment clasps feel solid. This belt is probably going to be used for years before I have to consider replacing it. 2) Multiple leash handles - There are four traditional handles on the leash, one at the very end where it attaches to the belt, another at the point where the leash splits, and one each on each of the dual leads. It gives me easy options for taking hold of the leash depending on where I need to at the moment. The other nice thing is that the handles have Velcro on them that holds them to the leash body when not in use so they're not flapping around while running. 3) Double attachment points at the belt - The belt I previously used had one D-ring to attach the leash, and that meant should the belt clasp fail there was nothing stopping my dogs from taking off. My dogs are well trained and would not take off on me, but if we're running through town I want to know with absolute certainty that they're secured to me. This belt has a D-ring at each end of the belt so the leash can be attached to both simultaneously and no stress is put on the belt clasp. There is also a third D-ring off to the side where you might attach another lead, maybe for a dog that doesn't pull. The belt is of the same, heavy duty material the lead is made of. 4) Multiple bungee points - The main leash and each of the double leads has a strong bungee portion. There are no sharp jerks with this leash when we take off on a run. Cons -- Really there is just one... The "padding" that is part of the belt provides as much support as a paper towel would. It's completely useless, and I've just pulled the one off of my belt and threw it away. You can go onto some Canicross sites and buy dual lead leashes for two or three times the cost of this one, and pay that for the same quality. However, if you're going do any serious running with some dogs then I'd recommend you take the belt and store it away as a backup and get a true running/canicross belt. But don't hesitate to use this as your main leash. That's what I've ultimately done. I use this leash and a different belt combo to run my BC's. We've got about a hundred miles on this leash so far and it's definitely worth having. Read more
