Size was just right, There is zero arch support, so keep that in mind if you need that. They are roomy, so you could probably add in an inexpensive arch insert if needed. These are a basic fleece slipper with a thin rubber sole, but they are not waterproof, so if you wore these outside to get an armful of firewood, your feet will get wet and cold. These slippers were purchased for my mom for when she visits my house. I wanted to get her slippers with a little rubber sole. They're perfect. The rubber sole isn’t too thick so she won’t trip with a heavy sole. They’re comfy and they close with Velcro so you can adjust the snugness. These are like being barefoot with grips on the bottom! I really love them. I feel really secure because of the slip resistance. There isn't much support if that's what you're looking for, but they are cute and seem to be made well. Soft and probably really comfy except for I wear a size 7 1/2 shoe and got the 8 1/2 - 9 1/2 size and it was too small (fit like a glove so no room for any swelling of the feet) I don't know what that was all about but they were really nice slippers they were just too tight for some reasons...gave them to me housemate. These slippers have been a life saver. The fit is perfect and stay on due to the Velcro closure on the side My mother Is 96 and shuffles her feet. All other slippers would fall off as she walked.
