Love these things. Controls dogs well. Very humane... no perpetual tugging on leash. You may have to zap your dogs once or twice while training them, but after that a simple beep (The zap level/ beep is selectable) will do the trick. I was hesitant to try a training collar at first, but this one has really made a difference for my dog. The design is sturdy but comfortable, and it comes with multiple settings so you can adjust the correction level to what works best for your pup. I really appreciate that it has a vibration and tone option in addition to static, so I can train effectively without overusing correction. After just a few days of consistent use, I noticed a huge improvement in leash pulling and recall. My dog responds quickly now, and our walks are so much more enjoyable. So the price on sale is definitely worth it, but you need to read up on these and make sure it's the way you want to train your dog. First off the one problem I have found is that if you connect two collars to the device you lose the vibrate feature which is what I was looking for. I also think that a buyer should really look at the difference between the normal and stubborn dog version. I have a lab and a golden doodle that wear these and normally the dogs are not stubborn but at times with these they seem to just ignore the collars. The information that comes with the collar is great on training and hopefully people will follow the information. These types of collars are not just plug and play you truly need to train your dog before using these. Read more
i use this daily on my 95 lb pit/staffie dog. He is too big for me to handle with just a leash. Worked just great! Took a week for him to learn to come. It is a humane solution, just a little buzz with a bit more zap if needed. I tried all electric shock options on my inner wrist as I didn't want to traumatize my dog. Read more
