I was in the market for a new gym bag and thought that maybe if I got it in a cute color, I'd be more motivated to go to the gym. The blue color is exactly as pictured. It is made of an interesting material that gives it a crinkled velvet look, which I find is very unique. I am quite pleased that the interior is not black but a dark gray color, which makes finding my items easier in a pinch. It has 2 slip pockets on the inside, 2 zipper pockets on the outside (1 that can store wet items), with another zipper compartment to store shoes. This duffle bag has quickly become one of my favorite go-to bags for both workouts and short trips. The material feels sturdy and well-made, with a water resistant surface which definitely comes in handy when traveling with my toddler. The bag is very durable but surprisingly lightweight and easy to carry, which makes it ideal for everything from gym sessions to weekend getaways. I absolutely love the versatility! The wet pocket and shoe compartment are standout features. This BOZIIGO Sports Gym Bag with Shoes Compartment, Travel Duffle Bag is super nice looking. The zippers are bright silver and look great on the blue bag I ordered. That said, there are a few concerns: 1. The zippers don't zip smoothly. This can be fixed by using some zipper lubricant. But then they lose some of their luster. Pics are without lubricant. Given that the zippers keep getting hung up, I suggest you lube it asap. 2. The water outer compartment is really small and unnecessarily so. It's a tight fit for just 2 thin wallets and keys. 3. While the shoe compartment is cool and innovative (more about that later), there should be some unzippered side/end compartments that could hold miscellaneous items like magazines, books, mail, reports you'll be reading, etc. Not everything needs to be zipped and a lot of potential space for stuff is needlessly missed. See pics with magazine and letter for potential locations. 4. The description of the bag talks about inside pockets that help keep you organized. There are exactly 2, and they are really small. Only in the big compartment. Those are the cons and to me, who is using this as a travel bag, they're pretty important. Here are the pros: 1. It's a good size, not too big or to small for my needs. 2. It has a detachable shoulder strap and handles. You choose. 2, The shoe compartment is good if you want to carry a pair of shoes. If you don't, you won't loose any space. It turns out that this compartment is like a bag that goes into the large compartment. If you put shoes inside, it takes away room. But if you don't need shoe storage, the shoe bag made of thin nylon rests on the bottom of the compartment. 3. While the zippers may not be as sturdy and functional as I would like, they are well thought out. For example, there are two larger compartments side-by-side that you get to from the top. The smaller of the two has a slightly shorter zipper. This makes it easy to know which compartment is which. Smart. Also, this compartment is water tight so you could put a wet towel, swimsuit, or something like that. 4. The fabric is nice and shiny like the zippers, but it does seem to also be sturdy. I would also say it's 'water resistant.' If it gets dirty, or something spills on it, you'll probably be able to wipe it clean if you get to it right away, 5. All compartments are lined with nylon material. 6. The stitching looks perfect. Except for the zippers, the bag looks well made and durable. So, pun intended, it's a 'mixed bag' imo. I can make it work as a travel bag. But I would have really liked some non-zippered side compartments like most duffle bags have. They're just not there and I pretty much have to take away a couple of stars. But if you want a sharp looking gym bag, this may be exactly what you want. Just remember to lube the zippers asap. Nice bag for short trips or as a carry on. It’s quite roomy for a small bag and it has lots of different slots to store things easily. The material is has a slight velvety feel to it and the color is really nice. The wet pocket and shoe compartment really make this bag a win! Read more
This is a surprisingly attractive sports bag. The material is smooth to the touch and has the physical appearance of crushed velvet. The seams are well constructed. The zippers open and close easily and really look cool! They are super shiny. There are multiple compartments for clothing items. There is a front compartment that's perfect for a cell phone. I really like this shoe compartment, which opens from one end and separates dirty shoes from the rest of the contents of the bag. This would be ideal for as a gym bag as well as a sports bag. For me, it's going to make a perfect range bag when I go down to the Sportsmen's Club for target shooting. The carrying handles are firmly attached, and it also comes with a shoulder strap.
