I have extremely narrow calves and often have difficulty finding boots that look nice and fit well. THESE ARE IT. I do like the option of being able to unzip the back zipper to add more circumference, if I wanted to bulk up and wear thick socks or stuff jeans into the boots. Zipped up all the way they are absolutely perfect. My calves measure 14.75" at their widest point. These are a dream. Soles are non-slip so they'll be perfect for winter and rain, and the fabric inside is lined with a short, fake fur-like material for added warmth. The strings and belt on the side are sewn in and cannot be removed (I considered this, but am growing to like the added detail). Perfect casual boot, I just ordered the black as well. First of all, I have spent two years looking for the perfect pair of brown boots. I know what I want, and I won't settle. Brown boots are so much harder to find, than black. These boots are originally over $100. I waited to see if they would lower in price and they did! They are worth the original price for sure! They are true to size. I wear a size 8 in Adidas sneaks, an 8.5 in Nike sneaks. But I am generally and 8.5 in flat-heeled boots. I am just giving a few brands and sizes to compare. Now I've seen some reviews on Zappos and the Spring Step website saying that the shaft of the boots are two narrow. I thought that too until I unzipped the back zipper. Gorgeous Vegan boots! Unfortunately, I have tried two sizes, and neither fits around my calves, and I don’t think my calves are especially big! I can zip them up only part of the way Should be redesigned with this in mind. Read more
