This is my second pair of these boots. The only reason I'm on pair number 2 is because I lost my first pair. I was honestly devastated. I love that these boots are almost knee high because they keep my feet and legs warm and dry. I'm usually an 8 wide and I bought an 8.5. They fit with some room, which is fine with me because I like to wear thicker socks and it is always better it the feet aren't smooshed into boots. I love these boots. Design comments: Beautiful, very flattering design with quilted details and faux fur. The material makes them a perfect match for many winter coats (quilted and/or puffer style) and I love that about them. I read lots of reviews in several places before purchasing and many people had complaints about the zippers getting stuck or broken. I had zero problems with them, just be careful not to let the material get caught when you zip/unzip. But that being said, I just slip the boots on and off without unzipping, so I only tested the zippers for review purposes. Sizing comments: I usually wear a 6 or a 6.5 in sandals and heels and a 7 in athletic shoes. My foot measures 23.1cm (9.09 inches) and according to Spring Step's size chart, I should be a EU 37/US 6.5-7 so that is what I first ordered. They were very large on me, significantly too long in the foot length. Also, the width around the ankle part of the boot is very wide, so every time I took a step, my feet would just slide right out of the bottom of the boot and up into the shaft. I exchanged them for a EU 36/US 5.5-6 and they fit much better, though still a tiny bit big. There is still plenty of room for super-thick socks. My foot still kind of feels like it wants to slip out of the boot due to the wide ankle of the design, but with the smaller size it doesn't actually slide out. I'd say this is the only design flaw, but it does make them easy to take off and on without unzipping at all. So, given all that, I'd say they run big based off of their own size chart. I have small calves at 11.5 inches at their widest, so I can never find boots with a shaft that isn't way too large. The shaft on these is no exception and is wide and baggy on me, however the fur trim kind of makes them look a bit more "filled in", so because of that they don't look silly on and I am okay with it. There are two zippers on each boot, so if you have wider calves and the shaft is not wide enough on its own, you can unzip them a bit to expand the width. There is matching fabric underneath the zipper, so they really are expandable in this way, i.e., you will not see your leg/socks/pants through the unzipped portion. I know I'm going to love these for years to come so I actually ordered a second pair for when my first wears out! If they make them in other colors, I'd probably get them all. Read more

I've outgrown size 7 as I've aged and moved up to 7.5. For reference, I usually wear wide in Vince Camuto and Marc FIshers are too tight, Miz Mooz I'll size up to 7.5 which gives me plenty of toe room. I only have spring step sandals and never purchased a closed toe shoe in this brand. This is overall a beautiful boot. The manufacturing was flawless, it's soft and warm inside, but the toe box is ridiculously too tight. Now, this seller is not the actual manufacturer, but I don't know what the designers/manufacturers were thinking to make a tight toe box on a winter boot. A normal person would wear it with thicker socks. Therefore, it makes zero sense on why a winter boot was created with a crazy tight toe box unless it was designed women with narrow feet. So IF you have young skinny narrow feet, this is the boot for you!! Read more

So disappointed in this boot and returned it. Poorly-designed, and boot must have been designed by a man without any knowledge that not ALL women/females have small, thin feet. Manufacturer designed it for a Barbie doll's leg and the zipper is a poor design and sticks when zipping up while foot is in the boot. Zipper is sticky even after treating with silicone spray. Only good part about it is that the boot has a zipper on each side and even with only one zipper open, it's easy to slide your foot into, and a waterproof piece of fabric spans between the zipper, but the zipper sticks and catches on the fabric.
