If you are familiar with Ayurvedic products, you know that this can't be a bad toothpaste. And it's not. It has the standard toothpaste texture and it foams up as you use it so you feel you have something in your mouth to brush your teeth with. It has a lot of ingredients known to help teeth and doesn't have fluoride, which I think has been overdone and you don't really need after a certain age. The taste is merely OK. I was expecting perhaps a little more cinnamon. The main flavor that comes through is menthol. The taste goes away in ten or fifteen minutes and it does leave my teeth feeling clean, and that's what counts. For a more cinnamon-clove feeling I like Tom's of Maine Cinnamon and Clove, also available on Amazon, but it has fluoride. As usual, there are trade offs. Read more
