Hard to store

This thing is huge!
We already have a grater/container device that we love, but it fits in the palm of the hand and is perfect for grating a handful of parmesan or lemon zest. The picture on Amazon made this look the same size as the small unit we love, but instead it is more like 6" long and 4" wide. It's not so ergonomic, BUT it will be very nice for mozzarella because of the size required to store the scrapings. As a bonus, there is a lid for the container part that can be used to store any extras that you scrape off. There are two scraping screens, one for parmesan/zesting and one larger one for mozzarella and larger stuff. The screens don't snap in place like our other unit, so I'll have to update once we've used it. Read more
Fine grater can't handle hard cheeses. Slips on granite counter.
The fine grater was largely worn down and useless after one use with parmesan cheese. Hoping the large grater works better with softer cheeses or I'll have to toss it. Is not non-slip on polished granite. Is a decent size and held up OK in the dishwasher, but you get what you pay for with this. Read more
