I have a guard for my mandolin that I also use for graters. However, it's too big for me to use on frozen butter and some cheeses. This is perfect! Works great. Excellent finger guard. Easy to wash. Good price, too. Read more
It is a little cumbersome for grating cheese and slippery when trying to hold onions (in fairness it's probably my fault for not making sure the onions are secure in the grippers), but ALL fingers are protected enough that I can glance at my laptop with confidence while slicing. Because it is stainless steel it will last a very long time, far outliving the two plastic ones I have. Cleanup is very easy, just a little soap and water and maybe a brush to remove soft foods from the gripper holes. Overall, I am really pleased with this product and can finally stop searching for an effective finger guard. Read more
This little gadget is exactly what I was looking for. Freshly grated cheese on a box grater is the best... but I was always cutting my fingers. this little guard works to prevent that. Read more
Items to be shredded or grated have to be cut down flat enough to fit inside of the Finger Guard or they will keep falling out. Gripping the Finger Guard feels awkward. Read more

It works i guess, but it is so awkward to use I gave up and just bought a hand crank grater instead. So overall I would not purchase this again just for the fact it is so frustrating to use you end up not using it at all. Read more
