This is a great product and we’ve enjoyed using it. It’s easy to setup and use, but it took me a couple times to know the water to espresso coffee ratio as this is bigger than the Moka pot we are used to. There are several things that I loved about this product. First, you know it’s something great the moment you open it due to its weight. This pot is sturdy and solid stainless steel! Once you have it set it up to brew, the brew didn’t take long, but the first time or two, I pulled it off the burner too quickly, not being used to the capacity. Like I said, it took me a couple of times to brew to get the times and the ratios correct coming from a smaller brew pot. But let me tell you, once you taste what comes out of this pot, you will never use anything else again! This makes the smoothest espresso you’ve ever tasted! We are absolutely floored with the difference in quality, smoothness, and taste using this pot vs a standard pot using the same espresso coffee and water! It is a night and day difference and once you realize what you’ve been missing, how espresso “should” taste, you’ll never use anything else again. This pot makes incredibly smooth brews! The other thing we love is the size as we can make almost twice what we could before. Cleanup is easy, just dump the grounds, and wash. There’s been no issue with water stains and our pot still looks new. While this is on the higher price point for espresso pots, know that you’re getting what you pay for and you won’t be disappointed. This Moka pot is really beautiful and has such a nice, reflective finish. It was pretty easy to figure out how to use and makes a GREAT cup of espresso. This is my first time actually using a moka pot and I’m definitely a convert! I got the smaller sized pot and it makes the perfect amount of coffee for me. This is NOT an espresso maker! It barely makes coffee strong enough if filled to the top of the basket with coffee grounds. After using a camp style percolator for a few days, I went in search of a well-made percolator. It seems those don't exist anymore. So, I purchased this as a substitute. The coffee does not get hot enough, so this is not a good replacement for a percolator. Once brewed, the coffee is barely warm. I'm still in search. It is pretty. That's the only plus that I notice.
