I genuinely love this product. I have a roach infestation and couldn't find anything to block these wall and cabinet holes. This does the job. Foams alot and sticks adequately. However there are a few downsides but nothing to not buy this product. --It of course has a strong chemical smell, use ventilation and a fan when using this. --It is very sticky and gooey- so use very long gloves, I use regular bathroom cleaning cloves that go to the elbow. It is definitely necessary to get gloves to the elbow. --It dries surprisingly quick only an hour. --I have huge gaps underneath my cabinets and it filled those. However since it is underneath the cabinet, it just kept falling to the floor I did sections of spraying and used a trash bag for the floor. It peels off very easy once it dries so if it gets on your floor let it dry don't try to pick it up. Then peel it off. --when dried, it has the consistency of a pool noodle. -- Kind if easy for a beginner beginner but I got the hang of it by the end. I think the best way to use it for holes is to kind of keep the nozzle in the same spot after spraying for a while especially for upside down holes. Anyways, it definitely blocks the holes and hopefully the roaches will stop living. I'm definitely buying more!!! Pictures are of aftermath. its VERY messy only because I'm not an expert... Since my lovely bride adores her shade tree, I used this to fill-in a void in a tree after I had a hornet nest removed instead of cutting the tree down. Worked like a charm... so far. Read more
Really expensive for what you get. It does the job, but you're gonna need both cans to do much filling. I used it to fill a crack around the bottom of a wall I'm prepping for paint, but it was a mess. I knew it would be, so I taped off the floor, so I could peel it back up clean after I cut away the excess. It did not cut well. I used a razor knife, MANY TIMES, to try to cut it free, but It ended up coming off in chunks, often taking the part I wanted to stay, with it. The tape came up, but not well. It's seemingly impossible to get a clean cut from the floor. The filler expanded like crazy in the open air, with giant bubbles, but the stuff in the crack also had a ton of bubbles, too, so no painting over that. You'd need to fill all the voids with putty, or calk, etc. Even then, half of it tried to come out with the stuff I'd tried to cut off, so this was pretty much an expensive waste of time for my purpose. I've used similar stuff in the past, to fill holes where critters & cold air were getting into the house, & because I didn't care what it looked like, I just left it alone. It did work for that. I just wouldn't use it on anything that shows. It does not cut well, and the voids are ridiculous in size, even in tight quarters, and it really didn't stick well, either, and kept trying to come out, every time I touched it. Read more
Worked perfectly to seal a gap where AC tubing entered my house. Easy application, make sure you wear gloves and an old shirt when you apply. The product is inherently messy but the foam expands and fills gaps nicely. It is sticky, so gloves and paper towel essential. It is a low cost solution for a larger gap; small gaps better treated with caulking or similar. Read more
