I brew Starbucks Pike Place Whole Bean using a standard drip coffee machine, and it suits this brewing style very well. Once ground, the aroma fills the kitchen almost immediately—warm and inviting, without being too strong. The medium roast comes through clean and smooth in the machine, with no harsh aftertaste. I usually add whole milk, and it blends nicely, creating a mellow, well-rounded cup that’s easy to drink in the morning. What I like most is how consistent the results are with a coffee machine. It doesn’t require much adjustment and still tastes good cup after cup. It’s a dependable choice for everyday home brewing, especially if you enjoy a balanced coffee rather than something too bold. I’ve tried a lot of different whole bean coffees over the years, but I always come back to Starbucks Pike Place Roast. The moment I open the bag, the aroma feels so fresh and clean. It’s not too strong, not too light-just that perfect balance I enjoy every morning. The taste is smooth consistent, which I really appreciate. Some beans can be a bit sharp or bitter, but the Pike Place Roast is always easy to drink. For me, it’s still the most classic and reliable medium roast out there. Read more

I use these beans to make cold brew concentrate and they work great. The flavor is smooth, not bitter, and it holds up really well when brewed strong. It makes a really good, consistent batch every time. Definitely one of my go-to coffees. Read more

I love good tasting coffee, and Starbucks Pike Place (Medium) never disappoints. It has a very nice taste, with no bitterness. And it's economical, too. There are other brands that I like as well, so it isn't one that I use every day. I'm a whole bean advocate, but believe it or not, my favorite coffee for every day morning enjoyment is McCafe Premium Medium Roast Ground Coffee (24 oz Canister). A GROUND coffee shouldn't be this good. But it is! Starbucks Pike Place will always be an occasional coffee for my morning drinking pleasure. Well worth it to try. Read more

I use Pike Place whole bean for my pour over coffee, grinding fresh as needed. The beans are always fresh and sell by date marked is far into a future that these beans will never see. It doesn’t get much better than that. Take time to make your coffee at home and your order will always be perfect. Read more

The Pike Street. Starbucks Whole Coffee, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The aroma upon opening the bag was rich and inviting, setting the stage for a great cup of coffee. The beans were perfectly roasted, showcasing a beautiful balance between boldness and smoothness. Brewing the coffee was a treat, as the flavors unfolded beautifully. It has a well-rounded taste with subtle notes of chocolate and toasted nuts, making it a versatile choice for any time of the day. Whether enjoyed black or with a splash of milk, the coffee maintains its robust character without being overpowering. Overall, Pike St. Starbucks Whole Coffee is a fantastic option for those who appreciate a high-quality, flavorful coffee. It's a staple in my kitchen, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and delicious coffee experience. Read more

It all started with a single click. I was half-asleep on a Sunday morning, scrolling Amazon in my robe, when the ad appeared—Starbucks Whole Bean Coffee—gleaming like it had descended from coffee heaven itself. Before I knew it, my finger had tapped Buy Now, and the mission was set in motion. Two days later, the box arrived. The second I cut through the tape, a rich, roasty aroma escaped like it had been locked up for crimes against sleep deprivation. I swear I heard tiny beans whispering, “Brew us, hero.” Enter my trusty, chrome battle partner: The Percolator. A vintage beauty I rescued from a thrift store, it has all the subtlety of a marching band warming up. I loaded in the Starbucks beans, grinding them to the perfect battlefield consistency. The percolator roared to life, clanking and hissing like a steam engine determined to reach Caffeination Station. By the three-minute mark, the house smelled so good I considered charging admission. By minute six, I was pacing like a detective waiting on lab results. Then—the gurgle. That glorious, final sputter signaling that the brew was complete. I poured it out, dark and majestic, into my favorite mug. One sip and I was teleported. Birds sang. The sun got brighter. My to-do list started waving at me, saying, “We can totally do this today!” So yes, this Amazon purchase was more than just coffee—it was a life upgrade. A jolt of joy. A caffeine-powered victory that turned my sleepy kitchen into a bustling Starbucks… minus the long line and misspelled name on my cup. Five stars. Would brew again. Read more
