This "HyperMount" is a really cool stand. I have an iPhone 17 pro max. With it's protective case, the phone is quite heavy. I was sure that the stand wouldn't be able to hold the phone if road conditions got bumpy. That has NOT been a problem at all. The mount is built out of amazingly stout, quality materials. It's heavy and practically over engineered, but I love it. I have it suctioned to the driver's side glass of my Ford F350. It keeps my phone perfectly situated for easy access and viewing. It also holds the phone tightly when traveling and even when opening/shutting the door. The suction pad is really sticky. It holds to glass without any hint of letting go. The little user's manual that came with the mount states that the suction pad can be washed with cold water to rejuvenate the sticky surface if you need to move the mount. I haven't done that yet, but it's good to know. I wholeheartedly recommend this Statik phone mount. It's a really great value and should last a very long time. Depending on what you need for a phone mount (see limitation below), this is an excellent mount. The suction part provides a very strong connection to the windshield. (Follow directions by cleaning and drying the location with the provided alcohol wipe.) the base is a sticky silicone and then you need to slide a lever to create the vacuum seal. I found it difficult to remove the mount after removing the suction without prying hard. You mount the phone onto the top magnetic ring. My iPhone 15 Pro Max with case is relatively heavy. (My phone and case has built in charging rings but they provide a stick-on metal ring if your phone/case doesn’t have one. I didn’t test that). My phone firmly attached to the mount with no worries that it will fall off. You need to make sure you orient the mount correctly as the hinges only allow it to extend one way. This mount has been surprisingly solid in real use. The magnetic hold keeps my iPhone secure without shifting around, even while driving over uneven roads. The suction seal is the part I was most curious about, and so far it has been holding up well. The idea behind this mount is solid, and the design looks clean and well-made, but the actual performance was disappointing. The biggest issue is the magnet strength—it isn’t strong enough to inspire confidence. Even with proper alignment, the phone feels insecure and can shift or detach more easily than expected, especially while driving. The suction cup was another letdown. Despite cleaning the dashboard and following the instructions, it struggled to stay firmly attached. It held briefly but loosened over time, particularly on textured or slightly curved dash surfaces. This limits where the mount can realistically be used. Build quality itself seems decent, and the adjustable arm works fine, but those positives don’t outweigh the core functionality issues. A phone mount needs to stay put and hold the phone securely, and this one didn’t consistently do either in my experience. I'm impressed, actually sticks to wood, my car dash, my portable desk, really anything that is a solid surface. The installation was incredibly easy, the sticky portion of course can be CLEANED with just water, air dried, and it resumes being STICKY. Awesome! The suction works great, and it solidly holds the phone in place. ONLY one minor gripe, the magnetic phone holder portion does NOT rotate in a circular fashion, so you need to readjust the whole darn thing based on how you want that armature lever to position the item just right for when you mag lock your phone to it. This is a very well made and compact phone holder made in Chicago. It works well, suction holds phone without any issue and is super easy to install. In the box are 2 magnetic rings that you apply on your phone or phone case and just sticks on the phone holders arm. It holds the phone and doesn't bounce around. Very nice product. I use this mostly for video calls and hands free phone use and it has been great. It works especially well with MagSafe cases and holds my phone very securely at whatever angle I need. The vacuum seal grips really well on smooth surfaces and I never feel like my phone is going to slide or fall. Super simple to install. My daughter was excited to get this and use it!! It suctions great on the windshield, and the magnet is nice and strong for the phone as well. It works good without her phone coming off when it hits the bumps in the road. It’s easy to install since you just suction it to the window! We like it.
