I am giving this 5-stars for the following reasons: We had just moved into a new house and the previous renters left all the appliances, as well as the bathrooms absolutely filthy! This comes with several accessories, I have only used the brush and the padded tip so far. The brush I used to steam clean the stove-top burners. I was amazed how it was able to generate enough heat to allow the baked on crud to loosen and come off. The burner plates, were also very greasy and this did a great job in helping remove the oil. I worry, because that great splatter can build up and cause a fire. I also cleaned out the fridge and freezer, as well as the washing machine and all 3 bathrooms. I love that this only uses steam to clean, without the use of chemicals. IT heats ups pretty quickly, but keep in mind that the reservoir is not too big. When cleaning, say a bathroom. You will have to stop and refill it a couple of times if you want to fully sanitize it. It also really helped in removing the soap grime from the walls. I also used the padded tool to steam clean our outside windows. They had a sort of build-up from over the winter. We also live on a very busy street, so I imagine that emissions from cars driving by, causes that build up. It took me several hours and lots of rags to do this with standard glass cleaner. The media could not be loaded. This unit worked well for cleaning my grimy window wells (see video—they hadn’t been cleaned in over a decade). I found it easy to use, and there was sufficient steam power to dissolve the grime so it was easy to wipe away (I’d secretly hoped it would blast the dirt out the window and require no wipe-up, but no such luck). Really is nice though to clean deeply with no chemicals — this process would have required a lot more wiping had I not used the steamer. A few cons: - the power cord is very short, about 4.5 feet long, so you need to be very close to the thing you’re cleaning, or you need an extension cord. The unit must be plugged in to use so you won’t be flitting about the house without unplugging. There’s some residual steam built that can be used for a short time after it’s unplugged, but not much. - the instructions say to fill the unit to 2/3 capacity, but there’s no fill window, so it’s literally impossible to know to what level you’ve filled it. I just put in a measuring cup filled to the top line and took my chances. Be sure to use distilled or at least filtered water to reduce mineral build up. - the nozzles aren’t easy to install. Not super difficult but it’s not the kind of fabrication you’d get with a very high quality product. - the nozzles and attachments are also not very high quality (e.g. the window scraper is plain plastic, no rubber blade, so I’m not sure how well that’ll wipe water). One reviewer notes that their unit leaked hot water out the body of the steamer. I suspect this is because they tilted the unit beyond the allowed limit. This is clearly outlined in the instructions, but I’m usually guilty of not reading instructions fully, so i can relate if that’s this person’s situation. This is good for fairly simple cleaning tasks, the kind most people have in their households. It could use a bit more power if you really want to blast dirt away. Read more

Look, you get what you pay for. This little machine is not expensive, so you aren’t getting the best steam cleaner out there. But, it does a decent job and seems like it will last for a while. It is easy to put the adaptors on (it comes with a handful of cleaning tips). It feels strong, as if it will be usable for a while. The water heats up fairly quickly and steams up nicely. The cleaning power isn’t what it could be with more expensive machines, but it does loosen up the dirt and help to get hard to clean spots in the bathroom cleaner. And since the steam is HOT, it is also sanitizing the surfaces it is cleaning. One thing to consider is that this machine is corded, and the cord is really not that long, so you are forced to work close to an outlet. If there isn’t one nearby, cleaning is nearly impossible. At that same note, the steamer hose is also not that long. So keep that in mind when considering this item. Truly, if you need a budget steamer and can be close to an outlet, this one works great for the price. But you’re limited. So keep that in mind when purchasing. Read more
