Switched from Turtle Beach Stealths and the improvement is fantastic! My biggest issue with the turtle beaches was they would take forever to connect to my ps5, sometimes not work at all, and drop connection randomly. They also sounded pretty bad compared to these steelseries. The steelseries connects so fast and consistently it's a breath of fresh air. And connect to Bluetooth on my phone without any issues. It's great taking calls and using spotify while playing games with the boys. They do really sound great and are very loud (and I still have the volume limiter on in the GG app). I did EQing in the app as well which really helped them sound great. Here's my favorite EQ settings for immersive sound after experimenting: 32 (3.5), 65 (5.5), 125 (4), 250 (1.5), 500 (0.5), 1k (0), 2k (0.5), 4k (2), 8k (1.5), 16k (0) I also like the mic more than I thought I would since that was the one thing really good on the turtle beaches. But it has great sidetone and my friends say I actually sound better so can't complain. Fits well, definitely looser than the TBs but that also means more comfortable. And I have a small head but they stay on without issue. Highly recommend these! Read more

My turtle beach wireless gaming headset broke, the mic snapping off, so I was in the market for an upgrade. Using chatgpt to compare my currently headset, I chose this one for comfort & durability, align with sound quality. I did not think I would even use the Bluetooth feature to be able to listen to my phone in my headset while playing PS5 but I actually use that every day now! I listen to audio books or music while casually gaming. I havent tried taking a phonecall with the headset on & didnt read the manual so idk if that is possible but it would be neat. What I love most about this headset tho is it is SOOO COMFORTABLE. I wear glasses and game for hours at a time & this feels like a cloud over my ears. Theres like an elastic type band that is adjustable that prevents the hard headband of the headset from ever even touching your head and the ear pads are so plush & soft. I'll never try another brand, I'm so in love with it. From what I understand, when you turn it in the color of the light around the power button indicates the battery status as well. Thats nice as I feel like I'm so prone to overcharging things if I don't know when theyre low. Read more

These Headphones are very good because of their versatility. They can be used with the USB-C dongle on PS5 or any computer with USB-C ports. There's a 3.5mm option. The microphone is retractable and of good quality, from what I am told. I like having analog controls, and you do get used to them They can get hot, and also sometimes I feel like they could be louder, but part of that depends on the content you are listening to. I also love that you can mix audio from Bluetooth and wherever the Dongle is connected. The battery lasts very long time, have barely had to recharge it. I'd say the quality for listening to music isn't the best, but these headphones are not the worst, nor are they made for that. Definitely could use more lows in the mix, though. All in all, they are really good headphones Read more

Great headphones. Work well and pretty sturdy. First time I have bought wireless headphones and I like the freedom (you can put your controller down and go check on your Hot Pocket while leaving the headphones/chat on your head). These SteelSeries seem very durable and made well. There are some options that my old Kraken/Razer ones had that I wish these did... but I am very happy with my purchase so far (been using them for almost half a year and they are doing fine) They only work if the receiver is plugged into a port - so be aware in case you can't spare a port. The few minor gripes I have is: -I wish they would go louder! (to be fair - I am slightly hearing impaired so wish VERYTHING would be louder). But still... these headphones could go a bit louder. -I wish there were more EQ options - and, at least, options for settings between the chat audio and game audio (but, see above...). There is a dial to increase or decrease chat... but it doesn't seem to do much and, in my case, I would rather turn the game audio down a bit so I can hear the chat better (sometimes the game audio is very overbearing). -If you get the white ones... watch out. My ear pads were stained dirty from just a few times using. I wish the white model (which looks 'cooler' I think...) had blue or black ear pads - or even ability to buy replacements. Read more

I was using the previous steel series headset that had a micro usb charging port and wanted an upgrade so my husband bought these for Christmas. I cannot describe how much better they are. The ability to use Bluetooth and the usb-c dongle at the same time is so convenient and I love it. They are comfortable as well, same as the previous set, but was happy the transition was so easy. Mic is great on these and I have yet to have any issues. Battery life is amazing compared to my previous set and lasts so long and charging is easy and can be done while using them. Volume is all good, havenβt had a problem with steel series on that so far. As well as clarity is great, which again is the same as my previous set. Overall I love this headset for gaming, listening to music, or even taking calls. Itβs all so easy while using them. Read more
