The media could not be loaded. I bought this skirt deliberately because of how light the fabric is, and how it flows when you move or spin. It does so wonderfully! I am a figure skater, not a ballerina, so I suppose I can’t speak for them, but if you need something that is flowy and light and also very strong (the string is well attached, and you can make a cute bow once you tie it), just get this one. i bought this skirt to go over a leotard for a dance audition. it fit comfortably, and i even got some compliments. it was long enough to cover my butt, but not long enough to get in the way. it is super cute and gave me a little extra confidence. the only thing i did not like was the ribbon used to tie the skirt. it felt and looked cheap and just not my style. i would have preferred something more stretchy and lowkey to tie the skirt in place. but this is very minor and the skirt overall was pretty good. Worth the money! This is the second ballet skirt we have purchased for my granddaughter from Steele. She still uses the other one that is more than 2yrs old. The skirt is a simple wrap, soft but sturdy enough for a teenager and how they are rough on their clothes. Will buy again. Read more
