Exactly as advertised. They are sturdy and very well sized. I use the Glad trash bags and they fit perfectly. The lids have a nice function that holds the lid open so you can throw away messy items without getting all over the lid. I am very happy and the price was great! Read more

We've had four of these bins for the last 9 months and it's safe to say they fit the bill. No issues fitting bags in them and they seem decently sturdy. They are all still working just fine. I will note that I got these bins for around ~$5 each so I consider it a phenomenal deal. For the current price of ~$11 a bin I don't believe it's worth it. The lid is not very sturdy and is susceptible to failure. Even though ours are going strong, I anticipate some will start to break in the coming months (we have two kids after all). If you can grab these on sale I'd say go for it, otherwise I'd avoid these if they stay higher priced. Read more

We've tried many different types of trashcan and find these to be simple yet effective. One note, if you have larger dogs, these may not be a good choice as they can learn how to get in or tip them over. Other than that, they're great. Once you get the 4-pack, you find other places to put them, we put one on the patio, one in the garage, one in the kitchen, and the last one in our bedroom. One is for Recycled, we simply put a blue label on the lid. Read more

Love these, have had some for many years. Yes, they are just a tad big for most standard kitchen trash bags, but they work (snuggly) with the Glad ForceFlex brand. Maybe there are other flexible brands that could work too? The bags make an air tight seal (!) so my husband drilled holes in the bottom of the cans to let air escape. On the positive side, the bags never slip loose and fall into the can! We rarely need to change the bags (except in the kitchen where there’s messy garbage) because the bags hang on securely and we can empty all of the cans into one large garbage bag for our weekly trip to the curb. My husband doesn’t like the swing lid on the recycling container (doesn’t work so well with cereal boxes), so our agreement is no lid on that one unless we have guests. I like that our trash and recycling is out of sight, yet we can still toss stuff one handed. If you shove the cans tight against the wall, the lid doesn’t swing correctly; but we keep them pulled out an inch or so, since they have a tapered shape and look weird shoved against the wall. The only can that deteriorated after years of use (well over six years; hard to determine how much longer that) is the one in the kitchen, which gets a new bag a couple times a week. That can split around the rim, presumably from wrestling bags off and on more frequently. I wanted three more of these cans but could no longer find them ANYWHERE else. I eyed them on Amazon for literally years. I even posted on Nextdoor to see whether someone would care to split an order with me. When a set in a damaged box became available on Amazon, I decided to order it anyway because of the significant price break. (Only thing wrong with the box was a strong tobacco odor. Yuck; but it didn’t affect the cans.) As it turns out, I could use one more… but too bad. I’m not ordering four more! What are they thinking? Read more

I got the 4 pack and am using all four of them around the house. The thin profile allows me to put put this one between my toilet and the wall. All four cans are being used very efficiently around my house. Read more

I have been married 35 years. My husband recently RETIRED and took up full time residence!!! I have decided to quit bitching and put one of these wherever my husband 'parks' himself. The hope is he when he gets junk mail, tissues and the like, it will go into the trash. I tried the small bathroom type that you step on to open. When he found they made a flat space they became a place to set a box of Kleenex or a book or whatever. I bought 4 of these 13 gallon trash cans and they are light weight and easy to pick up and remove when company comes. Great purchase and he is following through. Read more
