After a month's use, this "Diatomite Stone Mat" has been great... and it looks so good, too! After reading some reviews, I was nervous it would stain, so I chose the "Dark Grey Style 1," but I haven't had a single issue with what others have complained about. If something gets on it, I run it under water and use a soapy rag to wipe it away. It dries super quick and looks just like new again. The package came with sand paper, instructions, and a whole sheet of feet pads that seem durable. I have yet to replace them at all during the whole time I have used the mats. Using the foot pads, I have not found mold or water puddles under the mat. I do have an asymmetrical kitchen sink, so my original thought was to use only half (10" side) of it, since the one side gets the most wet as we use the other side for stacking pre-rinsed dishes and do the majority of washing on the right side with our soap dispensers and faucet handle on the right. We also have an airgap for the dishwasher on the right side of our sink, so I had to get the 20" size (10" on each half). Despite my original plan, I pleasantly discovered that the drying stone fit perfectly around the airgap, so I could still use the two pieces together, and it still looks great! I'm not sure how common asymmetrical sinks are (or airgaps), but if you have one, it may still work really well. Overall, this is a great product that does the job. The set came with sandpaper as well as extra foam feet so your countertop doesn't get damaged by the stone. The care instructions were clear and I'm happy it came with sandpaper because I never would have went out and bought it. The only con is that I think the stone is a little thinner than I anticipated, otherwise it soaks up water as it should and fits great. I only needed one so now I have a spare which is another bonus as it comes in two separate pieces. Read more

This product has been surprisingly useful. With hand soap on one side of the faucet and dish soap on the other, we constantly ended up with small puddles in that area. This mat dries quickly, has a slightly raised profile, and blends seamlessly with the décor. One recommendation is to attach the pads to the bottom before installing it, as they elevate the mat just enough to ensure a proper fit. Read more

This is very nice. I had a silicone mat around my faucet. The water would puddle up on it and sit there until I wiped it off. We have hard water with lots of minerals so the material was just a mess. This stone immediately soaks in any water and it looks really nice. I'm glad I found this. Def does what it's supposed to do and looks really nice. Read more

I really like these stone plates. They look beautiful and do what was promised…keep the water off my counter and more importantly keep the hard water buildup from accumulating. I wish I had measured the space I wanted it to cover properly beforehand but that’s on me not the product. Read more
