The media could not be loaded. I initially bought this Storex Portable File Box with Storage Compartments to use as intended, for personal documents that I need access to frequently. However, upon receiving this great storage box, I realized how perfect it would be for my crochet works-in-progress. My yarn bowl and yarn fit inside perfectly and my crochet hooks, stitch markers and other accessories fit in the storage compartments on top. The handle makes it easy to take my work-in-progress with me anywhere, without concerns of losing hooks or anything like that. It will make a great portable file box as intended also. There's adapters to accommodate either size, regular or legal, hanging files. The box feels sturdy and the compartments latch closed securely to store pens, paper clips, post-its, etc, safely and conveniently accessible when you need them. When my mother died, as executor my work produced a lot of paperwork: some of it legal size and some letter size. I needed to keep it all together but organized and portable. This box was well worth the money. It can be adapted to either legal or letter size hanging folders. Plenty of room for bulky legal papers. And there is a tray area on top for holding small items like pens, paper clips, etc. It latches securely and has a place for a small padlock if you need it. Altogether a well thought out product. Been using for about 6 months now, recently the front latch broke off because of the design, its inevitable that it will break because its rotating plastic hinges that just keep folding back and forth every time you open it, so naturally this will wear and break. The other thing that has been a pain is the top storage compartment, the lip that is supposed to hold it shut barely does so once you've opened the lid. This caused me to have to tape it down so as to not open and spill out its contents. Would not recommend, am currently purchasing a different one as we speak. Read more
