We don't use this daily, but it serves our needs really well. It is noisy, but it's a blender, it's going to be noisy. I like the push function rather than a button because it makes the "engine" easy to wipe and clean. No inset behind the button to get gunk into. Here are the ways I've used it that it's worked really well for: - Milling flax seeds, made a *beautiful* fine powder. It blitzed them in less than a minute. - Making dressings or sauces with a blend of this like onion, avocado, herbs, spices and other ingredients - More liquid-y smoothies with frozen fruit, yogurt for milk - Greek yogurt consistency chutney with dates and spices It was just ok at an acai smoothie bowl, but we've tried that in a $400 Vitamix and that was just ok too. I don't think any blender does that ultra thick, "hold it upside down" consistency without some fuss like shaking it aggressively every 40 sec. When we did that, it worked great. Two things I really like about it are the different size jars and its washability. I use the smaller jar for the flax seeds. And the large jar is just a bit bigger than you need which is great when you need extra space for bulkier ingredients. This blade piece unscrews completely from the jar and the gasket/seal comes off easily. (That's why he's hated the Ninja, it was fussy to clean.) There are no weird "wells" where the water pools and doesn't dry. Since I use this for sweet and savory things, it was important to me that I could take it all apart and put it in the dishwasher. The taller cup fits fine in the top rack of the dishwasher. It says not to put the blade in the dishwasher but it has been fine. I have a utensil drawer at the very top of my dishwasher so it's not getting heat on it. My only worry is the silicone seal gasket ring will eventually degrade and then I won't be able to use this anymore. But maybe I'll order replacements now. Read more

This is the best blender I have ever owned! I purchased it a year ago, use it every morning to make protein shakes, and it performs a good as the day I took it out of the box. I have an expensive Vitamix blender that I never use because this one so easy to use and maintain. Just rinse the top (which has the blades), drum the shake from the container, and then rinse and air-dry. Done! The Vitamix requires disassembly with each use … very messy and time consuming. Treat this blender well and it will last. Read more

Ok, this machine is pretty powerful. I was reluctant at first to puchase it, but I'm so glad I did. It's not super duper powerful, but I've found the best way to crush ice in my protein shake it to push / pulse the drink up into the motor. This allows the ice to settle to the bottom and break down. Two features I absolutley love are the rubber suction cup feel on the bottom of the motor. This baby isn't slipping on a wet counter top, nor is it going to vibrate off the counter. Another great feature is the "shaker lid". I call it a strainer lid because when I'm blending a protein shake I can strain out any clumps or ice that may still be chunky. All lids screw on the their cup/bases which blows away a different on I have where I have to hold it on or it'll all be on the floor. This was a great purchase and I see it lasing a long time as it does not appear to be cheaply put together. I've even mistakenly dropped the cups on the floor and they bounced, and did not chip. Now I won't try to do this, but it was nice nothing chipped or cracked. Glad I got this!! Read more

My Ninja was just too big and too loud for making morning smoothies. With an upcoming trip in view I decided to purchase one that would travel easily and would also be quieter since I’m usually the first one up during group stays. This blender fits the bill, and is honestly better than I expected for the price point. I couldn’t justify spending upwards of $100 to make a breakfast drink so I sprung for this one. It’s as quiet as a blender can be, cleans up easily and makes short work of my smoothie ingredients. The extras it comes with are a definite bonus! If you’re on the fence, I would highly recommend getting this…I love it! Read more

This works very well for making individual smoothies. I've had it over a year and it is still working well. Read more

I ONLY opened and started to use the blender 3+ months ago (even though bought earlier), and it started having ISSUES... Even with normal use for blending vegetables, lentils or making Chutneys, it now gets heated up quickly, there is smoke coming out when you run it for a minute or more even with breaks and there is a burning smell also... Also what I didn't realize and NOT clearly stated on the product page is that there is NO locking mechanism for running the blender! You have to keep pressing the cups to blend, which is an added hastle! It is very normal these days to provide locking mechanism for the cups for blending, so not sure why the company chose otherwise! I am sorry, but cannot recommend this product. My money probably is wasted, and not sure if the company will help in some way! If team is listening please make improvements atleast. Read more
