Just got my copy. Honestly, it's just nostalgia. I love it. They didn't change anything about the story or anything that makes Suikoden great. Just touched up on minor things, added difficulty and even speed up for battles. It's a nice feeling to me. I love it and enjoy it. I highly recommend it. I grew up on these games. Read more

A beautiful remaster of the first two entries in one of my favorite game series ever. Sure, there are some low points, jokes removed and dialogue changed, but for the most part it's one-to-one a faithful remaster. The weakest part would be that, while some QoL changes were made to 1, it's still rather clunky and cumbersome with the inventory system, and the party formations sometimes can mess you over.
