The cups are removable but there is still a large amount of material in the top to fill the gap Overall, if you need a large fitting top and small fitting shirt bottom, this is great. The Summer Mae Modest Tankini Swimsuits for Women well made and cute. I normally wear a 8-10 but bathing suits generally run small so I ordered the 12. It fits. I might have gotten away with the 10, but it all depends how snug you want it to fit. I do think the inner bra is not great. There isn't much or any support, it does have thin pads that are removable that are decent for coverage but nothing more. You could always get a separate swim bra to wear under it. It also has a thin panty in the shorts. I like the multi colored palm. I am not sure at this time if the material will fade once in the pool water, time will tell. Right now we are in the 50's so it is not pool weather. The suit is comfortable to wear so if you need something to sit around a pool or at the beach this would work good. You will look like you are ready to go swimming even if you never get wet but still look presentable. The only concern I have is it may not be the perfect suit for active swimming because of the thin undergarments. The shorts are short and tight against your leg. The top is not tight and may creep up when you jump in the pool and hopefully that thin bra will stay down because the elastic is not too tight!! Read more

I love the tankini style. It covers my midsection, loosely. so there are no stomach bulges. And, it has all of the advantages of a two piece suit where I don't have to take the whole suit off to go to the bathroom. I also like that the bottoms cover the very top of my thighs, too. I love the pockets. The tankini also has built-in support for the bust, which I really appreciate. I loved the styling of this particular suit, especially the Aloha print on the shorts and how it also appears on the shoulder straps and runs up the side of the top, too. I like that the shoulders are more substantial than just straps. One of the things I loved most was the contrasting material on the body. It's more like a cloth than bathing suit material. I love this swimsuit! First of all, you can tell when you take it out of the package that it is a great quality suit. It is well stitched, and the seams are held together really well. Both the top and the bottom have a white lining to hide the personal areas, so they're not see through. The top lining has thin removable pads that don't add a lot of bulk to the suit. I normally remove these and go more natural, but I can see keeping these in for a little more protection. I ordered it to wear on an excursion we're taking in Aruba where we're going on an ATV ride and then snorkeling. This tankini is perfect for that. I can wear it as shorts and a tank top for the ATV portion and use it as a swimsuit for the snorkeling. I normally wear a size 6-8 but I don't like my swimsuits tight, so I ordered a size 10 and it fits great and is really comfortable to wear all day. I really love this swimsuit. It looks like a pretty shorts outfit, and is perfect for chasing after children or just spending a day on the beach or at the pool. The sizing is correct; I got a size 10 and it fits well. It is snug in the right places and will hold in my tummy just fine. I like that the top is thicker and ribbed, so it hides some of the parts that I'd like to keep covered. I also love the pattern. The flowers on the bottoms are bright and fun, but the overall look is modest and stylish. And the shorts have pockets! If you are looking for a swimsuit that you can wear a whole day without feeling like you need a cover-up, and also is modest, this is a great choice. I love this tankini! First, it's cute with the ribbed top and floral bottoms. It doubles as a swimsuit and a beach/park walk outfit (Spring & Summer). It has so many great features, such as the built-in brief under the shorts for modesty and coverage. Many tankinis have a bikini bottom but this set has a high waist. The bottoms have pockets! I've never seen that in a swimsuit (just make sure I don't have the key fob to my car in the pocket when I go into the water). The top has a shelf bra and removable pads (since the pads tend to shift around, I just take them out). If you wanted to wear a sports bra under this, you could. No one really gets to see this 80 year old body in a swimsuit anymore but I do have a pool and I generally wear one in it. I am 5' 7 1/2" , 150lbs 38-33-39. I ordered size 10 (based on size chart) which fit OK but I think 12 might have been better. The ribbed top with just a bit of padding in the bust is very comfortable.
