SummitLink Custom Body Compatible for 1 10 1 8 Scale RC Car or Truck Truck not Included Muddy

I was looking for an inexpensive body that my daughter could paint and could bash while leaving my Raptor body minty. This fits the bill. The shell isn't as thick as my OEM body but has held up to some abusive (been bashing it for about 3 weeks at the time of this review). To fit the Slash I lined up the top mounts then hit the rear with the heat gun (lightly) until they molded around the rear mounts. I spent about 5 minutes total, if I had taken a little more time I could have probably made it look a little cleaner, but as this is a basher the aesthetics was not priority. Paint went on nice and the included sticker pack was good. My daughter was thrilled, she loves her purple buggy. With paint I am just under $40 all in, I think this body is pretty hard to beat in that price range. Side Note, I am running RPM front and rear top mounts which I highly recommend for height adjustment. I really wanted to like these bodies. I returned 3 earlier due to their significantly smaller and less detailed forms. I ordered three others at $10 more per body. Again, inconsistent shape. Opened up the box and was pleasantly surprised by the immediate quality. The plastic is flexible but sturdy. Really liking this product a lot. I placed it on my Savage to to see how it would fit over my roll cage and it works just fine. For the price you cannot beat it. To top it off it comes with some stickers too. If you have a 1/8 rc this is perfect. Would purchase again. Read more

The body is very nice. But it is made out of thinner lexan.? So I had to reinforce the inner body structure to make it stronger and more durable. The rear of the body does not really have a good place to mount it. Or any indicated possible way of mounting it.? But it did fit my kraton 6s. it is at a cheap price to. $25 so you get what you pay for.. Read more

I put this on an Arrma Kraton 6s EXB. Made a modification to the rear end of the body to make it fit. The body does not fully cover the inside of the car on the sides but that’s no big deal. Read more

The body comes as shown, trimmed. However; the trim job on mine is a little dodgy on one wheel well. It also appears that the spoiler that mounts on the two rear posts was located on the trimmed off plastic and is NOT included. Read more
