I have used this 3 times in between washes and can tell a noticeable difference! I forgot to take before and after pics, however this is what I found: Yes this works with a blow dryer. I wash my hair once every 3-4 days with dry shampoo in between. I use this either after I wash my hair while it is damp, or the next day on dry hair by spraying thoroughly and then blow drying for about 5 minutes on medium heat after i have brushed the product through. I am naturally a dark ashy blonde and this has definitely lightened my hair in only 3 uses. I will note that this does make my hair lift a bit warmer than I’d like so I may eventually use a toner of some kind (but pre-summer I’m fine with the warm tones). This works just as well if not better than sun-in. It definitely has a ‘beachy’ smell. I have a lot of hair but it is on the finer side so I don’t really like any products that leave a ‘weight’ or texture to my hair which this does, however it’s not heavy more like using a sea salt or texture spray in your hair. I usually put mine up with a clip for 2 days after. I feel like it does continue to “develop” for at least another day so I wouldn’t use this and then wash right away but after washing my hair is just as soft as before with no damage. I have used this product on medium brown hair about 10-12 times already in the Florida sun and it is definitely working. I have never used it with a blow dryer. My hair is not turning orange. It is now a golden light brown with some lighter streaking throughout. Very natural looking. I will continue to use it. The scent is pleasant. I have not noticed any damage at all. It is very mild and subtle. Just takes time. The first few times I used it I did not notice a change, but then one day it became a little more obvious and now it seems to be changing faster now that is has lightened up a shade or two. Omg. Please don’t ever take this product off the market. The photo with the dude was taken in May 2020 with virgin, un-dyed hair (before I purchased this miracle spray). The solo photo is from September 2020 using only the spray for lightening. Now, it’s not initially perfect. It’s a process, for sure. My hair naturally darkened over the years, as tends to happen as life gets in the way of playing outside. It naturally lightens in the sun, but I simply don’t spend enough time outside to make much difference. I knew I had a few trips planned that would afford me plenty of sunshine, so I purchased this prior. I went to Mexico in late June, and took this with me. We were at the beach and rented a Jeep to drive around. I soaked my hair daily after showering (like completely covered it in spray) prior to spending all day outside. Within the first couple of hours I noticed a big difference. I was in Mexico for 8 days and i came home considerably blonder than I left. I followed the initial week of application up with semi-regular-use at home (and an open sunroof in the car). I then went to Nevada and spent a week driving in a convertible around the desert and various national parks. The end result is OUTSTANDING. The part that began to worry me was that it was slightly brassy (more noticeable when it was wet) and once your hair dries with the spray on it, it makes it look and feel incredibly dry (especially in the desert heat and zero humidity). Once you shampoo and condition, the normal texture returns. I invested in a few different purple shampoos/conditioners, and they (rather slowly for my taste) did the trick. I use them about 4 times a week in between regular shampoo washes, and I also deep condition 2-3 times a week with either a purple product or with coconut oil prior to showering. I’m so impressed with this product, and, again, please don’t take it off the market. Ever. My focus now is maintaining the roots as they grow. I generally apply the spray using a q-tip or something similar only to the roots. I also streak down various strands around my head to add slight highlights, and I always spray the very front little bangs (or whatever the hair is called right around your face if you don’t have bangs) because that part has always been lighter on my head. I’d be a bit worried if you start with hair much darker than mine— I imagine the brassy comes out pretty strong. I was thinking that the main ingredient was lemon juice upon purchasing, but it’s definitely hydrogen peroxide— hence the brassiness. Read more

Really lightened my naturally dirty blonde hair in just once use. I get my hair highlighted but it’s so pricey that I decided to try and skip a couple highlights over the summer. I sprayed a liberal amount on my roots and underneath layer of my hair. Afterwards I spent about two hours at the pool in the sun. There was a noticeable difference. I do notice a slight brassy look and have ordered a purple toning mask which I think will tone it down. The product smelled great—a light beachy scent that was not overpowering in the least. I actually think it made my hair feel softer. it was easy to apply and worked so quickly. I don’t think it would work very well for darker hair but those with lighter dirty blonde or very light brown should see fairly natural looking lightening. Definitely more affordable than salon highlights. I’m sure I’ll get my hair salon highlighted at the end of summer but this has allowed me to extend my salon highlights by a couple more months, which saves $$$$. Overall I am very pleased. Read more

There's a reason why this product has been around forever. Because it works! I have been using sun in since the late 80's to highlight my hair and I am still using it today! I spray it in my wet hair and brush it through while I blow dry and it comes out looking like natural highlights! I am always told how soft my hair is too so I know there's no damage plus it shines!
