It doesn’t look cheap at all, and it fits well with the rest of her room decor. The brightness is strong, but it can be adjusted to any level she likes. Sometimes she keeps it bright when doing her makeup, and other times she lowers it for a softer glow. The three color temperatures are also very useful. She can switch between warm, cool, or natural light depending on the time of day. The memory function is another helpful feature. When she turns the lamp back on, it remembers the last setting, so she doesn’t have to adjust it again. The timer is also handy when she wants the lamp to shut off automatically. Bought both kinds of sun lamps, one which is hollow and this one which is moon like setting. Both of them are great looking with nice features like different colors, different lighting levels and timers. We use them in kids bedrooms during bed time and 5yr old loves it. I suffer from severe depression during the winter months, doesn’t help that I don’t get any sunlight into my house whatsoever, and being cooped up in the house with this pandemic, 4 kids distance learning, and working from home... getting out durning the day has been impossible for me . My boss actually recommended this therapy lamp. It’s been life changing for me.. I’ve had about a month now, I typically use it mid afternoon, and I’m noticing a significant difference with my mood and my energy levels are also higher. The product itself is compact, Lightweight and stores away nicely while not in use, It’s also very easy to take it out and set it up when I find time.. It works fine. And looks cool… I believe it works like it should but the three (3) control buttons are awkward and make light adjustments difficult. I don’t know still which light is for the SAD light and which one is for any time use. Instructions are useless. I am rating the light. Not the seller. All was fine with shipping and everything else. Compact and stylish light, effective for SAD, diffuse light with versatile settings and colors. Mine just stopped working after 3.5 years. Wish they sold a replacement bulb! Seems like a waste to discard the base and remote. Read more
