It shines so bright, is purse sized for easy transport when traveling, it has 3 brightness settings and 4 timers. The product is definitely very bright. The cons for now are that it's not wireless and that I have to connect it to a USB-C when I want to use it, I tend to move around in the morning throughout my apartment so it's not convenient having it in one spot. Also the buttons are activated by touch so it can be hard to locate them to turn on and off the device since the light is so bright. The lamp doesn't get hot, is a good size, looks sleek, and so far is stable. I wish the light was warmer rather than a colder color. I first bought this product a bit over a year ago. It was great then and it's great now. I do my light therapy either at home or at work, so I need two lights. I was getting frustrated with my second light that I bought elsewhere, so I came back and bought this one again. It's a great light. The controls are simple, the light is very bright, the design is sleek and looks good on my desk. My only irritation is that I keep forgetting that it remembers your last brightness selection and frequently hit the on button twice, which means it turns off and I have to start over cycling through the brightness settings. I also wish it had an indicator as to how far you are in your timer (I once had one that showed you that you're past the halfway mark). Overall, a great find. Read more

I've had this for several years now. I bought a portable style light for work but this is still the best. It works as good as my giant bulky medical grade light did. 1) you should be using it at full brightness, 2) start at 15 mins and work your way up every couple days till you find your sweet spot (mine is 30 in fall and 45 in Jan/Feb), 3) with any light therapy the position relative to your face is important. I just watch vids or read while I use it. It takes about 3 days to feel large effect as half of the problem with SAD is disrupted sleep cycles. It takes a few days to start catch up with quality sleep. Now that I know I get affected I start in late Sept. Your living location might vary. I didn’t notice a difference in my mood or the other things that these lights are supposed to help. I have been using for several months now. It has 3 different settings. The brightest is very bright. It is on the smaller side, but like I said the highest setting is pretty bright. It didn’t work for me but turned out to be a great night light for my geriatric dog.
