Misleading product description and pictures

Ordered 1 pack of light bulbs. Item page shows picture of 6 bulbs for 1 pack. Only got 1 bulb. Called customer service to ask why they indicated you got 6 bulbs when you only got 1 and the Rep insisted that the page she saw showed 1 pack was only 1 light bulb. I repeated that the page I saw showed/indicated you got 6 bulbs. I also said that this was misleading and amounted to a scam and that they should correct the web page.. Rep seemed reluctant to do this. Seemed stymied by the situation as if it was not one that she had encountered before and didn't know what to do. Rep asked several times if I wanted to return the item and get a refund. I suggested she speak to her manager. She did not want to do this. I said that I didn't want a refund or to return the item. I wanted them to correct the misleading product description. The light bulb seems fine. It's the product description and pictures that should be changed. After several frustrating minutes of give and take, I finally accepted her offer of a refund and being allowed to keep the single bulb and she said that while she had no control over the product description page, would bring it to the attention of those who did. I am sure she was doing her best to satisfy the customer, but Amazon should have a better procedure for Reps to handle situations they have no script for. I like Amazon and the bulb seems fine, but they should be more precise in their product descriptions. Read more
