The bulbs were a direct replacement for the bathroom light fixture. We decided to go with the 65K (sunlight) bulbs for better color. The bulbs appear brighter than 27K bulbs we had used previously, and the color repro is closer to what's seen outside in the real world. Have used them for a couple months with no failures (suggest writing the replace date on the bulb to measure service life).
