I got the hammock and stand yeaterday put them together today and the quality is nice/as expected. The hammock chair is comfortable to sit in and I can stretch my legs out which is wonderful. You get a nice snug, but weightless feeling. The green is a lovely brighter sage. I am 5’6” 225lb and it holds me just fine and my 6’4” husband also sat fine. I would reccomend! Read more
We have 2 of these now for our covered patio area and we love them so much and use them daily. They are so comfy and great to relax in after spending time doing gardening chores. Our cat loves them too. So much better than typical patio furniture...more comfortable, love that you can have your legs elevated and that your back is fully supported, allows for great airflow, so wonderful on hot summer days. Amazing construction, durability and comfort! Still cannot get over the amazing price of this hammock. We bought the red one in 2022 - 3 years later still perfect (we are in Florida, it’s in direct sun so it has faded A LITTLE which it totally expected). We have $400 lounge cushions that don’t make it a year! The wood is still in tip top shape (Florida rain and sun 24:7 - only comes inside for hurricanes!) So very comfortable, durable and fits everyone of all shapes and sizes. Did I mention the quality? We are ordering our second one for this year and donating this one. Read more
My wife wanted a hanging chair and she's very picky. She absolutely loves this, so much that we bought another. It's a really nice design of high quality materials. We've only had ours a month but everything seems durable. I'm hopeful that they'll last a long time. We really like the comfort and adjustability with this hammock chair. You can sit in it like a chair or stretch it out so that you extend your legs. Keep in mind that while you can stretch out in this, you'll still be sitting semi-upright. It's not designed for you to lay down horizontally like a hammock - that's why it's called a hammock chair. It's so comfortable and nice that you can spend hours in it and also take a nap. Read more
We bought this in October. Used it for a few weeks then stored it inside for the winter. (We live in Southern California - not exactly harsh winters but since we wouldn’t be using it we put it in the garage). Have had it out the last few weeks since the sun is out shining and the wood finish has chipped extensively. It makes me nervous as I type this swinging in this super comfortable hammock that the structural integrity of the item may have me crashing down at any second. I went through all the reviews and don’t see people mentioning this issue tho.. so is it just mine? Like others have said tho- WOW! The most comfortable thing ever. I sat down an hour ago just to sit for a moment and I am still here because - it’s just that comfy. It’s almost like I can’t even imagine getting up and walking after feeling this cocoon of comfort. That said- I hope the chipping on the bar doesn’t mean it will break at any moment. Also. For reference I am 5 feet tall 130 pounds. So it shouldn’t b a weight issue. Read more
This hammock is perfect for my small screened in lanai. The rope is decently soft, and conforms to your body, although after sitting in it for awhile you will get small imprints from the pattern all over your skin, which is completely normal. I love how I can really stretch out in this, I'm 5'7 and I can lay out head to toe in it. We fastened it to the beams in the ceiling with a super duty eye hook, and a really strong chain with a big, almost industrial sizes carabiner at the end to easily clip on my hammock. When I'm not using it I easily roll it up and store it under my couch. I don't leave it outside, because #1 we get a lot of road dust that coats everything outside & #2 I want it to stay super clean so I don't have to worry about my clothes, blankets, pillows, etc. when laying on it.
