I am singing the praises for not only this wonderful hammock, but for the company which sells this hammock - Sunnydaze! This hammock is made sturdy and beautiful, in fact my previous one lasted about 10 or fifteen years! I ordered this particular hammock on Sept 1st. After the initial return period that Amazon has, I noticed an issue with the hammock and contacted Sunnydaze directly through email. Within 5 days, I had my replacement hammock!!!!! Good for the price but expect only a couple summers use

Nice hammock for the price but don't expect the hammock to last more than a few summers. We bought ours in summer of 23 and brought it in for the winter, did the same last summer, brought it out yesterday and after one day out there were two stress rips on either side of the hammock by the ropes in the middle. Probably doesn't help that there was a teenager using it like a swing and not like a hammock, so I guess I can't totally blame the hammock or the manufacturer. Until that point it was pristine. The fabric doesn't fade terribly and the ropes holding the hammock have done quite well. So if you use it as you should you might expect a longer life out of the product. Read more

Yes, it was comfortable. Yes, it looked good.... for a while. But after 14 months, it faded and ended up splitting when I went to use it. Luckily it was me (230lb male) and not my wife. I would not say something was very durable that only lasted 14 months. Read more
