I'm giving this 4 stars because to test it, I decided to make a small pot of chili. I did my usual of chopping my vegatables, browning my meat, and put everything into the little pot and turned it to "high" to cook. I came back after an hour and it was only luke-warm at best, the middle still cold...I poured everything into a pot on the stove, heated it p to boil, boiled it for a few minutes (just to make sure it would get done in time for dinner) and poured it all back into the crock pot. I then left and did other things...an hour later once more I came in and looked and everything was bubbling nicely in the pot and it cooked nicely. After I determined it was cooked well (onions and peppers soft) I turned the heat down to "warm" and let it sit until dinner time....it was the perfect temp at dinner time to simply serve and eat. So, it is very slow to heat up...this is both a good and bad thing...good because it means you will not scorch the bottom of whatever you are making, bad because it means you do need to start your meals in a different pot and transfer it to complete the cooking. I've seen this in other slow cookers, so this in my opinion is not enough of a problem to drop it more than 1 star...but it does mean more cleanup rather than simple one-pot cooking...maybe if I gave it more time it would have gotten up to temp to cook...it just means planning ahead that this one takes a little more time to get up to temp. Size-wise, this is PERFECT for 1-2 people. My problem with my bigger pots is that they are too big for a lot of soups for me...this one is perfect. Warming function is fantastic...I have another slightly bigger slow cooker from a name brand that when I turn it to 'warm' it still boils whatever is inside of it...and really dries out things like chili within a couple of hours...I have to constantly switch those between 'warm' and 'off' to keep the food from drying out...this one has a wonderful warm setting that truly just keeps the food warm...that will be fantastic for things like Queso...where my other pot will keep it bubbling, this one will just keep it warm...I prefer the just warm. So overall this is a 5 star pot...I just lowered it by 1 star since it does take so long to heat up...you need to almost plan an extra 1-2 hours when one pot cooking with this. Read more

Works like a charm! I have made sloppy joes in mine 4 times, and each time it turned out great. I just add my frozen brick of ground beef, a can of manwich, turn it on high, and wait 4-5 hours (stirring, chopping after 2 hours). 1lb of ground beef and 1 can of manwich filled it about halfway (~4 servings) It’s easy to clean, has not chipped or cracked, and the heat level gets the food past 165F degrees. The capacity is perfect for a party of 2. Has enough space to make roughly 6-8 servings of a dish. Overall, I have found great use with using this slow cooker. It has helped me out on getting a good, warm meal on lazy days. Read more

This 2qt crock pot is the smallest crock pot I’ve ever owned and I absolutely love it! I usually do a lot of meal prep when I have time on the weekends but during holidays, that spare time evaporated and I found myself cooking dinner daily. The Sunvivi Pro 2 qt slow cooker became my go to appliance for keeping the family fed as it is the perfect size when cooking for 2-4 people. I’ve used it for everything from soups and stews to cookbook dump meals that all came out perfectly cooked. The crock pot comes up to temperature quickly and kept consistent heat throughout the cook time. Its compact size makes it easy to store in but still large enough to be practical for daily use. During holiday parties, it was also handy for making and keeping dips warm. A versatile, practical, and reliable addition to my kitchen tools. Love it! Read more
I wanted to love this little slow cooker, but, sadly, I don't. Is it cute? yes. Is it the size it claims to be? Also yes. But that's about where the good things end. The lid has no gasket, and it's smaller than the area where it sits, so it moves around a lot, with a lot of noise. There is no light to indicate that the cooker is actually on when you turn the knob to the different settings. Also, it takes a VERY long time to heat up. So much time that I don't believe it would be safe to cook any meat or anything that could cause food poisoning in it. Even in the instruction booklet, it tells you not to cook roasts, steaks, or any larger chunks of meat in it. This is not indicated in the listing, though, so you don't learn that until you have already ordered it. After learning it wouldn't really work as a food prep appliance, I tried using it as a simmer pot, and even on high, it did not hold the heat at a level that would create consistent steam. The moment you take the lid off for even a few minutes, the temperature drops considerably. Pretty disappointing for sure. It also began making cracking and popping noises after about 3 hours of operation. This led me to worry it was going to crack or break, and I turned it off to avoid a mess or worse. I do not recommend this cooker. Read more
